I cannot recommend Helena enough! When I left my ex-husband, I knew that he was going to make the divorce a hard process, I just didn't realize how hard. We have two elementary-aged children and my ex-husband came hard at me with threats and filed an emergency TRO. I started my journey with another attorney that I felt was not the right fit for me. I came across Helena's profile and did a consultation. What immediately stood out is that she asked that I send over my court documents before the consultation so she could review them. She was the only lawyer that I consulted with that asked for that. So when we had our consultation, we did not spend a lot of time talking about what happened, but about what I needed and how she could help. Immediately I could tell she understood my case and most importantly, she understood my emotions. Divorce is a very hard and emotional process. I ended up retaining Helena and it was the best decision I could have made. She makes herself available to her clients and if she is busy, she will communicate that. Which I greatly appreciated. She advocated for me and helped me finally get divorced after a long, expensive, and petty divorce. She is honest, hard-working, empathic, and will fight hard to advocate for her clients. I cannot recommend her enough!!
