I worked with Magee Hartman after being referred by a friend. They were very helpful and knowledgeable with all the concerns I had. Their customer service was outstanding, and I definitely felt like I was in the right hands. Would definitely recommend!

My lawyer referred my to Jim Magee because he doesn't deal with bankruptcy. I never met Jim, we only talked over the phone. My husband passed suddenly leaving me with financial concerns and questions. Jim listened to me and gave me many options to address my situation. He was kind and patient with me. Friendly and professional.

Willing to help at a reasonable cost

Michelle and Cynthia were outstanding handling the sale of our house. It was a long process due to various reasons from buyers. I was kept abreast of everything that was going on during the many delays for the closing. I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the help I received from Cynthia and Michelle. I will miss everyone at Magee Hartman as Ihave been with them for many decades. We moved to Texas which is too far away. If I could give more stars I would. They deserve at least a 10!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND No matter what legal issues pop up I always have Jim and Michelle's phone number handy. Magee Hartman in Round Lake always have come through for me time and time again. They are always more than willing to meet with me for advice or to discuss options. 5-star service and reasonably priced.

I have reached out to Mr Jim Magee two times. Both times he wasn't able to help me because my cases were out of his expertise but he put me in contact with other attorneys who were the right fit and were very experienced. I definitely recommend Mr Magee because he will help you one way or another ... Five Stars.

Don't bother. They won't even return your call. I'm sure there's some "firm" that won't hesitate, but this isn't that one.

Not impressed, he did an update on our Will and Trust and at times lost documents. He told me he was going to add a document for our medical component and never did. I reached out and have not heard back.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Let me first state that - right there. These folks - ALL of them at this practice, are legitimate, caring, compassionate, and do NOT make you feel like your time with them is not valuable. Never rushed. Always informative, decisive, and even when there is a circumstance that they may not be the best fit for - have recommended well-known colleagues to refer the business and care to. I had the genuine pleasure again just yesterday Nov 14th, 2023 to speak with Jim, and he gave his insight, shared his knowledge, and even offered a referral to another firm as supplemental background to my situation! NO ONE else does that - at least that I am aware of. Every single time I have worked with either Jim or Michelle, and of course Cynthia - nothing but absolute professionalism, courtesy, and just all around great human beings that are truly invested in taking care of you, their client. I cannot say enough how highly I regard this firm for all my legal matters - thank you and keep up the outstanding work you do!
