Jeff Muntz and his team provide exceptional service. I felt completely comfortable in an otherwise very foreign environment. Jeff was thorough, approachable and diligent in all of his efforts. He made sure I understood my options every step of the way and I felt assured he had all of my best interests in mind. I would recommend this firm to anyone seeking legal representation.

I have been working with Jeff on and off since 2013. He was assigned to my Divorce case and helped work out an fair settlement, always looking out for my best interests, as well as, listening to me for fairness to the other party. I then had to bring him in to a Severance case to help ensure I was being treated fairly with "sharing". Lastly, and hopefully for the Final time, I had to request his services to help settle child support upon completion of my maintenance at the same time of loss of work. He is an excellent resource, he has good relationships with the courts, and he is always sensitive to my needs. I have recommended him and the firm to friends who are looking in to hiring a lawyer for divorce. I have no problem retaining him again if I would need.

Tricia was amazing to work with during a very difficult time. No one wants to or expects to go through the process of divorce, but when you find yourself needing these services, it's best to find someone who is trustworthy and reputable. Tricia was recommended to me and I am glad that I went with that recommendation. I think she is very knowledgeable and most importantly, competent. She ran everything by me and didn't make decisions for me. This is important because divorce is expensive. I found myself extremely frustrated when discussing things with my ex and he would tell me that his attorney wrote it in there and he didn't know why. Attorneys that do this cost extra money and I'm grateful I never had to deal with this with Tricia. We discussed things and she wrote them. She was honest with me when she thought I was expecting too much. I appreciated this because there is no point in fighting and paying for stuff that it is unlikely I would receive. That being said, she also knew what I should push for and helped me receive what I needed. Furthermore, the other people in her practice are also great to work with and responsive. I'm glad that I chose Tricia to represent me. I will always appreciate her helping me during a really unfortunate time in my life and that she did it with care and compassion.

After leaving a physically abusive relationship, I attempted to negotiate parenting issues amicably; however, it was short lived. Contrarily, Jeff and Goostree Law Group have worked with me on outstanding monthly balances through the years. Furthermore, Jeff professionally advocates on my behalf and is thoughtful, putting my son’s best interest first. For example, when I have wanted to escalate various issues, Jeff has provided legal counsel and ways to navigate the “system” to help us achieve desired outcomes. My ex-girlfriend and family have tried to financially bully me into litigation, but Jeff’s keen understanding of the law has aided in justification of submitting petitions at the “right” time. While Jeff and Goostree Law Group cannot change family law, they sure in hell can help you get the appropriate outcomes you need.

I have worked with Jeff Muntz for over four years in the post-decree matter of my former marriage. While having to file numerous petitions and motions, and he took the lead the whole time and knew exactly what to do and what would be most effective. He was very professional and proactive in communications with me and explained strategy so that I could get the best possible outcome given my situation. He is very familiar with the Illinois family court system and his experience as a former Assistant State’s Attorney and current Guardian at Litem proved valuable in his recommendations each step of the way and being able to properly advocate for me with opposing counsel(s) and most importantly our Judge. As with any litigation, it was not a short process, but I am thankful as a father to have had Jeff by my side when I was awarded custody of my son.
