I hired Hower Law Firm for my spouse who had been purposely alienated from their child for many years in a high conflict situation. This was a disheartening experience compared to all the great reviews this law firm has. Either HLF was too inexperienced to handle our case or they did not take it seriously. The opposing counsel played one dirty trick after another and HLF did almost nothing to stop them. They would keep telling my spouse that everything was going well and they would send another bill. While I paid thousands of dollars for HLF to handle our case, the custodial parent was manipulating the child's feelings and nothing was done to expose it or prevent it from occurring. The child was disturbed to the point where he no longer desired a relationship with the alienated parent. My spouse and I agreed to the custodial parent's proposal because continuing would have only brought more mental and emotional harm to the child. The cherry on top is when we were given apparent misinformation about the agreement and it's terms. We made an effort to contact HLF a second time and we never received a response confirming the the validity of the original statement they made. I want to believe HLF did everything they could, but all evidence suggests the contrary. Months have gone by and I still can't believe it ended this way.

I received the du page county law suit for back child support, I was scared out of my mind I would lose everything, The Hower Law firm assured me they were the best in the business. They really eased my mind, and I came out on top, they made my emotions clear, and kept me from having a pancik attack. go in with an open mind. They really are the best family law attorney's on the planet. My ex threatened I had to pay until my son was 26, but Illinois law is only 18 call them now.
