He seemed extremely confident when I interviewed him for my case and gave me a sense of peace upon hiring. My case was a sticky situation with alot of odds against me because it was a false battery case from a family member who was simply offended at me. My wife was even there as a witness to the situation, but the police twisted her words to fit my arrest because of the family member. I hired Hower Law Firm for my spouse who had been purposely alienated from their child for many years in a high conflict situation. This was a disheartening experience compared to all the great reviews this law firm has. Either HLF was too inexperienced to handle our case or they did not take it seriously. The opposing counsel played one dirty trick after another and HLF did almost nothing to stop them. They would keep telling my spouse that everything was going well and they would send another bill. While I paid thousands of dollars for HLF to handle our case, the custodial parent was manipulating the child's feelings and nothing was done to expose it or prevent it from occurring. The child was disturbed to the point where he no longer desired a relationship with the alienated parent. My spouse and I agreed to the custodial parent's proposal because continuing would have only brought more mental and emotional harm to the child. The cherry on top is when we were given apparent misinformation about the agreement and it's terms. We made an effort to contact HLF a second time and we never received a response confirming the the validity of the original statement they made. I want to believe HLF did everything they could, but all evidence suggests the contrary. Months have gone by and I still can't believe it ended this way.

I received the du page county law suit for back child support, I was scared out of my mind I would lose everything, The Hower Law firm assured me they were the best in the business. I consulted with more than 7 other Attorneys and most of them were straight to the money or others just plain out disregarded my case and few were simply disingenuous. He always made time for me and even went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me when he could with lowering the price of his service when he did not have to do it but he knew i am a disabled veteran who had been struggilng with post traumatic stress and due to my physical disability aquired in the Marines had a hard time doing the only type of work i had the most experience in, which are physical jobs. I could write for a very long time about how many times he showed his heart for aquiring justice for all. There was one time i cried when i was overwhelmed about how it seemed i would never receive justice and have to be in jail for something i was innocent of but he hugged me and assured me that he would do all in his power to help prove my innocence. Another time when my post traumatic stress was making it hard for me to sleep or eat and i was going into depression he would connect with me on human level and share uplifting news and stories that would let me know i am not alone and that he truly believed i was innocent. Also once i had to ask for an order of no contact and he helped me right away and assures me that all was now well and that i could rest my heart knowing ive done all i should to not be worried about it anymore. I never knew men like Mr. Matthew Sperry existed and much less that such man would be an honorable and caring attorney. I feel blessed to know Matthew Sperry and would highly recommend him and his services to anyone who would like to be represented by an honest and caring attorney.
