This is the best law office I've talked to among 10 that I consulted with. They were quick to respond. They took my case and solved it in a couple of weeks, where others predicted it would take months and a million documents. This was by far the smoothest process I've been through, thanks to Richard Labovitz and Van Schwab. It took 1 in person meeting (under 1h) and a couple of emails to get everything sorted out. My experience with Rhonda Stuart is with her serving as the Guardian Ad Litem in Lake County, IL. She does not follow ths guidelines for GAL's in Illinois. She makes up her own rules as she goes along. She stated with conviction under oath that I said she was biased in one of the hearings. I had never spoken in a hearing. It is shameful when an officer of the court can't be trusted to be honest.

After a long nightmarish process of trying to sift through all the options to find an affordable honest divorce lawyer….in the midst of the usual exhaustion, confusion, and burnout that comes with being a single parent going through such a challenging time, I had the good fortune of stumbling across Dave Wolkowitz’s law office in a google search. I called him, he returned my call later that day and was very straightforward, not at all slick like so many other attorneys, open about discussing the outrageous prices other attorneys were quoting me and why that was, and gave me a realistic timeline and all the information I needed to move forward with my uncontested divorce case. I paid a flat reasonable fee up front, and after a few months of being sent the necessary documents electronically, signing them along with my ex, and communicating with his paralegal Sam, we had our prove up hearing online, and I was awarded my divorce. I am extremely grateful that Dave presented himself as an option because I don’t know what I would have done otherwise. His competition who offer the exact same services were literally quoting me five times what I paid. It makes me sad that so many in the industry would take advantage of struggling mothers during such a vulnerable time, but such is life and our rapacious system. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone I know who needs a fair and honest lawyer, and to all of this reading this, best of luck with your divorce.

I would absolutely recommend Dave to represent your uncontested divorce. Super affordable, process was so easy and fast. He and his paralegal Sam were so professional and a joy to work with (don’t be surprised if Sam becomes a bestie) I would say I would use his service again, but let’s hope I don’t have to lol. Since day one Anna Nolazco was a huge help. She was very professional and kept in contact with me every step of the way. They have kept their word and got me through the expungement process.
