I consulted and hired Tom for 2 separate Bankruptcies in 2008 and 2010. Tom was very efficient, attentative and fast. I would recommend Tom to anyone that wants the job done right the first time and who does not want to get ripped off with pricing.

Scott Gordon was a great choice. After meeting with several attorneys I meet with Scott and one of his associates. I was going through a divorce and needed help with the legal process and custody of my daughter. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and was very responsive. My case was handled with care and I was very happy with the end result. Scott and the attorneys were always there to answer questions and was quick to respond to me if and when I needed anything, and I felt like they all cared about me and my daughter. My case was resolved in a timely manner, and the real benefit was the future relationship with my daughter. I would highly recommend Scott Gordon & Associates for any member of your family going through a divorce with or without children. They are excellent at what they do.

UNRESPONSIVE LAWYER!!!! I hired attorney M. Scott Gordon to help me with child support payments and instead he put me in a worse position than I was to begin with. Anytime I would call to get updates on my case he would never respond to me. He than asked for more money which I gave him. A week before the court date I get an email from him telling me he's dropping my case. And he refused to give me my money back! NOW I KNOW WHY PEOPLE DON'T TRUST LAWYERS!

Just got my discharge today and you can say I am relieved to start all over again. I highly recommend Tom Makedonski. He explained what I needed, and filed my case within 24 hours as promised on his website. He made me feel at ease and really explained the process in a simplified way. I remember when leaving his office, I was asking myself can it be this simple? Mr. Makedonski explained to me that based on my financial situation that it would be that easy and he proceeded to show me my numbers and the minimum requirements to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I really appreciated the crash course!

I don't understand how the other reviewers could be talking about the same person. Tom Makedonski has been a disaster! He regularly ignores phone calls and emails. He says he will email documents then doesn't. He agreed to pay for the financial education portion of my Chapter 7, then failed to send me the link necessary to complete the education, after numerous promises that he would. I paid for the education instead and took the certificate down to the court myself to be sure it was filed in a timely manner. I have a creditor that needs be added to the list of creditors. I sent the bill to Tom in January. It is now April, and I have confirmed with the bankruptcy court that he still has not filed the additional creditor. Oh, and I hired him and paid him in April 2013, but he didn't actually file the case until January 2014, after I asked him for my money back. When I talk to him on the phone, he's all promises, but he doesn't deliver the service that a competent attorney would. You may pay more for someone else, but trust me, it will be worth it! I'd have been better off filing this case without an attorney, because he has documents that I need to see, but he won't send them to me.

Tom was highly recommended to me through a family member as I started to contemplate bankruptcy in order to alleviate some of the financial difficulties I was faced with post the divorce. Upon meeting Tom at his office, almost immediately he made me feel at ease and as he walked towards me to shake my hand he smiled and said to me; relax, everything will work out just fine! One thing that I found rather unorthodox about Tom and so no 'lawyer like' is that for the first 30mins of the meeting Tom made sure I understood that this is nothing to be embarrassed about and it is an option available to those who need it the most. I walked away from the meeting with Tom for the first time in a long time finally being able to see the light at the long tunnel. We had a plan! He outlined the next steps, action items for me and action items for him along with the timeline to get it done. Throughout the bankruptcy process, I knew Tom was always a phone call away. After all, he has given me his cellphone number during the first meeting letting me know I can call him at any time with questions. Tom comes highly recommended and I consider him one of the best lawyers in the area of bankruptcy law. Tom's knowledge and due diligence enabled me to sail smoothly through my bankruptcy. Just received my discharge after filing my case with Tom and I can say that I am very pleased. My case was filed promptly and all of my questions answered putting me at ease in regards to the entire process.

I went in for a consultation for a chapter 7 bankruptcy, Tom gave me the rundown on what I needed and how much it would cost. Once I provided him with all of my documents my case was filed right away and the process went quickly. Mr. Makedonski always responded to my emails and or phone calls swiftly, very impressed with the price and service.

I hired Tom to do my chapter 7 bankruptcy case after interviewing three different firms. The reason I went with Tom was because he did not try to up sell me when he gave me a free consultation and it made me really comfortable and at ease. He made made my situation sound really simple and gave me an estimate of how long my case would take which was right on target. The most important thing here is that my phone calls and emails were always returned within an hour or so, I found that unbelievable and for that alone I recommend this attorney.

Excellent attorney. Very knowledgeable about my options and situation. Was able to help me determine the best course of action with my daughter and the advice and service he provided was right on the money. My situation was not a war between my ex and I, but I needed to be protected for my future relationship with my daughter. I was very happy with the services provided and will continue to use Scott Gordon for all my family law needs. It took me a least 6 months to file my Chapter 7. I called Tom every month for 6 months asking him questions after questions. And sometimes the same questions. He heard my anxiety over the phone on how scared I was and how embarrassed I was to have to admit I had to do this. My self pride was in my way while I was stuggling working 2 jobs and my husband 2 jobs and still had to wonder how we were going to eat. Tom made me feel it was ok to do this. Tom was kind and very patient with me. He understood my struggles, he listened and he was there for me at all times. He's very knowledgeable I would choose him as my lawyer for anything.

Tom was my attorney for my bankruptcy case. From the first day he told me what should I expect, how much will it cost and how long it will take. At that time I was getting about 75 collection calls a day. The very next day after I've been to his office the phone calls almost stop. Few days after I didn't get anymore phonecalls. I've recommended Tom to at least 10 of my friends and he helped them the same way he did help me. His professionalism and knowledge are surpassed only by his courtesy and his humor. I like this guy and I would recommend him to anyone who goes through bankruptcy. Six month after my case was over I started getting approved for credit cards again. Not that I would overuse them again but ....just as an example for people who say that once you file for bankruptcy you're doomed for 7 years.
