I think they deleted my actual review of this place I put awhile back... i dont know how.... but somehow they did.... and...that would make their reviews stars incorrect.... and I bet they have had their family give them the 5 stars that they do have bc this firm is not a good firm. The only thing they care about is money. They milk their hours so u will have paid for absolutely nothing...

Awful! Excessive billing practices, uniformed attorneys, and the attorney did not do the paperwork that he stated he had!! They don't answer phone calls when there are issues!

Stange Law Firm helped me when no one else would. They are intelligent, caring and trustworthy. I highly recommend their services.

From the start Mr. Rankin has told me that we are going to do what is best for my newborn son and focus on his needs since that is what is important. That is the philosophy I had going in so it was nice to find a lawyer that cares more about the childs needs rather than the parents needs. Fighting for your children can turn ugly, but it shouldn't because the only one that sufferers is the child at the end of the day. Mr. Rankin is helping make it as peaceful of a transition as possible even though that can be difficult sometimes with all of the emotions set up. I am sure when everything is all said and done it will be what is best for my son and his mother and father will realize what is important here. It's sad that families have to resort to this, but it's nice to know there is someone that can help with this in a peaceful way.

In my divorce I spent over &30,000 and lost everything with this firm! We had no mediation which is required by law and the attorney charged me over $3,000 in a days time to ask the other firms attorneys for advice and nothing else. He told me we were going to lose but he was setting it up for an appeal but later found out it would be well over an additional $30,000 for that to happen! I requested a different judge due to him being biased and the attorney told me if it started looking bad we would request a different one but that never happened . The judge disregarded many laws and some of my rights and the firm didn’t fight for me at all but only worried about me maintaining a certain amount weekly in the retainer account so they could draw from it! Picking them was a huge mistake and now I’m the only one paying the price for the next 6 years! Do research and just know you’ve been warned. Kris Daniels

Stange Law Firm did nothing but misrepresent my case and rewrite petitions that were already filed and had a decision that was made in Sangamon County Family Circuit that affects my sons well being and safety now. I have a lot of concerns about the way my case was handled by my attorney which I believe to have led to the outcome of the decision that was made. On February 27, 2018, I hired Stange Law Firm to represent me in the Petition for Rule To Show Cause and Motion to Modify Child Support for which I had previously filed on February 5, 2018, Pro Se. After speaking to Mr. Rankin and Mr. Graham at Stange Law Firm and explaining the case to them they told me that they would be more than willing to help me with my case. I provided them with the following information and complete proof of everything which included Police Reports, Email Correspondence, Text Messages, Pictures, Facebook Posts, etc to support such. I more or less handed them a case on a silver platter all they had to do was call in witnesses to collaborate it all and it should have been a piece of cake. Since they did not call in any witnesses to the collaborate the evidence all of the evidence was considered to be 3rd party allegations and the case was lost. From February 2018 to May 18, 2018 Stange Law Firm was able to charge me $12,000.00 for doing nothing except for rewriting petitions that I already filed but now in their name and that was it!

I got in to talk to an attorney quick, Chauncy Graham, and he understood the problem and started the process to work on the problem fast.
