Joel is very easy to work with and hell keep you LAUGHING no matter what your going through, I'd recommend him as your family/divorce attorney to anyone.

When I first spoke with Joel Zimmerman, I felt as though he was interested in helping me and wanting to work with me. I had a very difficult case to begin with and basically Joel had to try to turn it around. Going through a divorce is most definitely not easy, but when you feel you have a aggressive lawyer like Joel, you will feel there is hope. Kelly who is Joels legal assistant was always available to answer whatever questions I had on the case and would always relay messages to Joel. She is took her time always to speak with me. After I hired Joel, one of my clients had said, " I know Joel Zimmerman, he's good! I was told through the case from Kelly that I am in good hands and I was.

I own a property management company and manage in Detroit Metro Area and Chicago Metro Area. Joel has represented our firm and has done an outstanding Job. I will use Joel in the future for all Legal management needs.

Hiring Doug has been & continues to be the best decision I could have ever made. The firm was there for me in a time of total & complete crisis & despair. Doug has the inate ability to understand when client needs some tough love about there ongoing child custody issue, or a word of advice. He has a keen ability to keep you rational when we as parents are at our most irrational state, when it comes to our most precious thing our children. Doug and Howard are able to more than competently represent you in the courtroom, but more importantly (as I have now learned & experienced) are strong, compassionate, advocate in the months it can take to resolve these very emotional trying issues of again the most important thing in the world OUR CHILDREN. Mr. Zimmerman is a very professional and "to the point" Attorney. His focus was exclusively on prioritizing the issues at hand and addressing them completely. I was impressed with his sense of urgency and the no nonsense approach!! He's to the point and focused on fighting what's right for my family. I didn't always like my options, but he was honest to explain what my options were along the way. My Ex is a multi convicted Felon, employed under the table by defrauding the system, and his earnings on paper are next to nothing. He has spent almost a decade focusing all of his energy on defrauding the system to avoid child support for his 2 boys. Despite tax returns with earnings less than what a part time fry guy makes, Joel was able to have my Ex pay more that his annual earnings were per year! Even though it is still less than what he should pay, it's better than the $0 I was receiving! I highly recommend Joel! He is very knowledgeable, articulate, and did not let me down!

I tried to call this office to find out general information about Workers Compensation...the secretary began asking general questions, however, when I asked a specific question she put me on hold to ask an attorney...when she came back on the line she asked who do I work for as if to see if it would be worth their time to pursue my case. That shouldn't matter if a person needs help!!!! I understand business is business but they wont be getting mine!
