If looking for an attorney for family law, I’d highly recommend Gauthier Family Law. Mike and his staff always treated my case with a sense of urgency. I do NOT recommend this lawyer! He completely took advantage of my son who is developmentally delayed! Over 1 year of continuances at our cost of course! No resolution regarding the custody case at all! He never even shows up for court, only via zoom. I'm disgusted with the every ounce of neglect my son has endured at the hands of this man who cares nothing about fathers rights at all! All this "man" is focused on is money! Save your retainer and get a lawyer who doesn't take advantage of you!

I have been divorced for 15 years and finally one day my ex said just the “right thing” to make me want to return to court. I clearly had serious court PTSD but went ahead and took a chance and contacted the first attorney from my Google search, Michael Gauthier. In my initial phone consultation Mike was very professional and reassured me that it would be a fairly easy and fast process and I would only need to appear in court one time, at the most. That sounded too good to be true since we were going after unpaid child support and college tuition but I took that leap of faith and moved forward! Throughout the process Mike or his office staff responded to every phone call, text and email in a very timely manner and never once made me feel as though I was an inconvenience or bother! Not a single time did I have to appear in court and we won my case and it all turned out exactly the way I had hoped! For being so scared to face my ex in yet another battle, Mike and his team couldn’t have made my experience any easier! I would not hesitate for even a minute to recommend Gauthier Law Firm to my family and friends!

If you are getting a prenup done I DO NOT recommend using Gauthier Family Law. Our initial consultation phone call seemed to be the perfect fit. He said our prenup is pretty straightforward and he can get it done within 2 weeks easy. I did not receive my final product for over 2 months. He was horrible at communicating and getting back to me in a timely manner. I had to email, call, and text multiple times to get any kind of response. I had to email sensitive financial information and I would ask for confirmation that it was received and would get silence in return. I did get my prenup finished and everything should be fine if I were ever to to use it but the months of poor communication was beyond frustrating. if I had known I would have found another attorney to draft one up. If I am paying good money I should receive good service.

We enlisted Lohse Law, and Brian Lohse's assistance, with a Quit Claim Deed for our property in Lake County. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. We highly recommend his services!
