Kat did an amazing job on my divorce and shortly after helped a good friend of mine. She quickly responds to emails or requests and does all the work herself. You will not be passed on to a paralegal, junior counsel, or funneled through endless secretaries/bureaucracy. She is honest, practical, and uses a low-conflict but firm approach which will help keep your costs much more reasonable.

Kat's knowledge and expertise, quick responses, and compassion during a stressful time were exactly what I needed. She was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate while moving things along quickly. She really cared about me and worked hard to get me a successful outcome. My husband has been a father to my daughter basically since the day that they met when she was two years old. It just came naturally. If you didn’t already know our story, you wouldn’t think otherwise. When we got married, WE (my daughter, my husband and I) got married. When I had my other children, they were always OURS. The only things missing were her last name being the same and that little technicality of her not legally being his. She had asked for this to be changed for years. We met with David Del Re and he walked us through the process. He introduced us to Kat Allen, who took over from there. She was very thorough and very timely, not to mention patient. We had all of the paper work and bugs worked out before we even stepped into court. She made sure that this process would be as smooth as possible. When the day came and we officially became one unit, she was prepared for everything. It went so smooth. It truly was one of the happiest days in our family’s life. Ms. Allen was patient and pracgmatic about solving many issues in my high conflict divorce. She took a situation that had me initially in a potentially bad outcome, and got me a fair deal. The high conflict issues were both in the parenting and financial terms of the divorce and she was able to handle my high level of emotions and get a fair result. The parenting issues were contentious and she helped create a solution to get me out of the hole my prior counsel had put me in. I ended up with just under 50% of parenting time, guideline support and fair division of assets. The financial details were complicated and it went more smoothly with me providing detailed supporting documentation and calculations. Being organized and able to bring the financial information and calculations to her clearly so she can best represent them definitely helped my cause. While she is an awesome advocate, clients have to be prepared to provide support for their financial calculations. If you aren't prepared to support yourself on this front you probably need a consultant or a more expensive firm. Overall I'm very happy with Kat's representation and David Del Re's supporting guidance on my case.
