I recently had my first case with Mr. Stavins in a matter where he was court appointed by the Judge as the Guardian ad Litem. Mr. Stavins immediately started his investigation, including interviewing his client (the minor child) and advocating for her best interest. I was impressed with Mr. Stavins' due diligence and commend him as a peer in the community.

Mr. Stavins was a lifeline when I needed an attorney. He was accommodating and willingly worked around crazy work hours. I would highly recommend him as he went above and beyond and I’m forever grateful for his ability to fight for me and explain the law to me in laymen’s terms that helped me understand.

Beware of this attorney. Within one month of hiring Robert for my divorce and child custody case, he used up all my retainer fee for some or other unnecessary reason. He is so unprofessional that he shared my confidential details to the opposite counsel for his own benefits. He did not put across any of the valid points infront of the judge even though we had discussed before the start of court hearing which shows his poor argument quality and because of which the decision was not in my favor for that particular hearing. I am not sure of the people who have given good reviews because I have seen if the opposite counsel is a good friend of Robert then he would make sure to let the other counsel win and would make you lose. He is money minded and never bothers about his client trust and emotions. I could not see any zero star option, so I am forced to give one star otherwise he does not deserve to get one start also.

Mr. Stavins handled my divorce and child custody case professionally and methodically. His rates are fair and just. After a long chess battle during a pandemic I honestly can say I would be worried to have any other firm cover my 6. My family can’t thank you enough. 5 stars. And will keep Mr. Stavins as my Trump card.

Amaaaazing lawyer!! Responded to my request in minutes! Was able to get me a plea deal and I just have to do community service! I was seriously a mess before he helped me out, and in one court date- he fixed everything. He's smart, organized, professional, and super nice, too.
