Beyond his brilliant legal expertise, Doug really knows his court. He represented me in a DUI case and helped me get the best outcome I could have possibly hoped for. Denis demonstrated wisdom, integrity and self-control despite low blows from the opposing attorney. He was always well prepared when we met. He took time to listen to my ideas and strategies. Denis is a seasoned vetern of the lake County Court system and has excellent knowledge of the system. His experience as a former proscutor and his 30+ years experience in the courts as a divorce attorney, I feel, makes him one of the best attorneys that one could choose. I don't know what the (unknown) person who wrote the unfriendly review is talking about. Mr. McKeown's (in my case) handling of my situation was the COMPLETE opposite. He was always up front with me, never lied. It was a very traumatic time for me. He guided me every step of the way, and the process always happened as he said it would. He took my calls or returned them promptly. He never overcharged me or wasted my time or money on frivolous talk or negotiations. He took control of all meetings with the ex and his attorney. I strongly feel that no other attorney could have possibly represented me better. I HIGHLY recommend him if one is (unfortunetly) in need of a divorce attorney..
