Bill was everything you want in an attorney. He responded to emails and calls in a timely manner. He showed up when he was supposed to be there and he fought for my family. I would highly recommend him.

First rate defense attorney. Bill represented me on two occasions. His familiarity with the Lake County justice system served me well on both occasions. He listens and provides a realistic assessment of the facts of the case. He won't sugar coat it and fill you full of unrealistic expectations. When I came across Lou he was quick to answer my calls. He came across as arrogant but after telling me he has been doing criminal law for 30 yrs I just assumed that he new what he was talking about. I was in a bad situation and desperate. Lou, saw that and took advantage of my situation. He never wanted me to speak and everything felt like a threat. Once I pleaded my case out and really wasn't explained anything. Lou would get frustrated if I spoke or asked questions. He was always in a hurry. However, this was after I paid him. I was told 50 days after my plea that I had to do something I did not agree too. I called Lou and he pretty much washed his hands with me. He stated that what I had to do was not in his scope of practice. Yet it was most definitely part of criminal law. Lou does not know criminal law all he wants is easy money and to hurry up and ruin you so he could move on to the next person for the money. Lou told me things he could not deliver. Lou was the biggest mistake I could have made in trusting him as my attorney. I will never refer Lou to anyone. He is definitely in it for self interest. Please do your diligence and get a more credible and knowledgeable attorney. But in the end my situation was resolved with out Lou as my attorney.

I worked with Mr. Margolin for the first time a few months ago. I can't say enough about the professionalism and promptness I experienced with him. Time and time again while hiring a lawyer for a traffic violation you seem to get kind of overlooked when it comes to details or offers as well as updates about what is going on with the situation, not with Mr. Margolin. I was recommended to him by a good friend and I would be more than happy to recommend him to a family member or friend any day of the week. Great service!

Lou has helped my fiance several times. He worked with us on payments and kept him out of prison when he should have done time. Love this man!
