5 Years ago, I moved to the Lake County area from a western Illinois suburb. When I inquired about a reputable divorce attorney with new friends and colleagues here in the Lake County area, Fiona McCormick's name was brought to my attention on virtually every instance. I met with her in person and I hired her very shortly after our initial consultation. She took the time to sit down with me, face to face, to discuss specific options regarding my divorce proceedings after a long, separation period with my spouse. She answered all of my questions, always kept me informed of the progress of my case at all times, and provided all legal documentation to me in an expeditious manner. She diligently represented me in Zoom virtual court as required, and within less than (1) year of deliberation with opposing counsel, she was able to help me reach a final, amicable agreement that was deemed fair by both parties. Amazingly enough, this all took place near the start of and current continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic. (April 2020 to February 2021). Fiona is brilliant, tenacious, and professional. I hold Fiona McCormick and The Law Offices of David R. Del Re P.C. law firm team in very high regard, and will highly recommend them to anyone and everyone that is searching for a law firm that gets positive results, and gets things accomplished, now and in the future. Fiona and her law office are wonderful. They are very helpful in answering any questions you have - no matter how silly you may think the question is. She is very professional and made my divorce quick, easy and painless - or at least as well as it could be.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have paid this unethical attorney over 13,000 between my court cases, and had a reasonable question why I was charged due to the courts moving my court case due to Covid and he withdrew from my case. The only reason he withdrew was because he knew the court case was over and he wouldn’t be making anymore money off of me. I had to hire a new attorney for one court case after paying him thousands of dollars. He came highly recommended to me by a judge and I can rest assure she or myself will no longer recommend him to anyone.

MS. McCormick took the time to sit with me and discuss specific options to go about my legal case. I live far south, but my court hearings were in Waukegan. She answered all my questions as the case went and always had someone to get back to me if she was not available. She worked with me and kept me informed at all times. She was always present in court as needed and took for account my family's needs to best get to a final agreement from both parties. I highly recomend her services.

Joseph Fusz was appointed GAL in my family court case. I am fighting for custody of my son from a very tough position. I get that, I own that. I was relieved to have a man as the GAL. Someone who could share a man's fatherly perspective. My first impression of Joe was that he was very likable, smart, and reasonable. Joe continued to be this way throughout the case which has momentarily been removed from call. Although my case hasn't gone exactly the way I wanted it to. Maybe my expectations were too high. And I don't have the knowledge of the law to navigate this case by myself. Perhaps there is a little frustration with the system. But only because I love my son and I want to protect whatever innocence he has left. I do wish the the court could have done more for my son and I. At the end of the day Joseph seen the red flags my sons mother presence but in his position there was very little he could do. In his credit he was able, at times, to look beyond my conviction. He actually began opening doors and allowed me to see there was light at the end of the tunnel. And I would like to thank Joe for his assistance. He is very professional and I wish a had him as a lawyer and not a GAL. I will never stop fighting for my son. Thanks again.
