Denis is a seasoned vetern of the lake County Court system and has excellent knowledge of the system. His experience as a former proscutor and his 30+ years experience in the courts as a divorce attorney, I feel, makes him one of the best attorneys that one could choose. He continuely met with me to discuss the options and counseled me every step of the way through a very emotional process that I eventually got through. Divorce is unfortunate, having Denis on my side to help me to undertand all of the options and to make an educated decision that effected my life forever was very comforting. I would highly recommend Denis to any one who is seeking an attorney that is honest and not one to "run up" your bill during the process. He will fight for your rights and will represent you in the most professional manner possible.

I don't know what the (unknown) person who wrote the unfriendly review is talking about. Mr. McKeown's (in my case) handling of my situation was the COMPLETE opposite. He was always up front with me, never lied. It was a very traumatic time for me. He guided me every step of the way, and the process always happened as he said it would. He took my calls or returned them promptly. He never overcharged me or wasted my time or money on frivolous talk or negotiations. He took control of all meetings with the ex and his attorney. I strongly feel that no other attorney could have possibly represented me better. I HIGHLY recommend him if one is (unfortunetly) in need of a divorce attorney..

I refer everyone I know, who is entering into a divorce in Lake County, to Denis McKeown. He has 30+ years experience and knows just about everybody at the Lake County Courthouse. He calls it like it is, does not waste your money on unnecessary wrangling (unless you tell him to). He'll advise you on what to expect and get it right every time (he did in my case). He's not cheap, but is very fair when it comes to fees. He's simply an all-around nice guy to deal with.
