I recently settled a case and was represented by Attorney Cohen. The case spanned over a few years which did require much patience on my part, however, I was really impressed on how Attorney Cohen frequently updated me as to the status of my case and how informative he was during the process. My case cost me thousands with this attorney, The case settled early in a fraction of the time I was led to believe it would take. Before I entered into an agreement with Mr. Cohen, he and his firm agreed I would be reimbursed for the previous funds I was able to secure on this same case from a previous settlement offer. Upon final settlement, Mr. Cohen did not honor this agreement and kept my previously agreed portion of the the settlement. This was a substantial amount over AND above my third of the contingency fee that was due to me. Phone calls were never returned. I would have done much better handling this entire case myself.
