Lisa Giese was a phenomenal attorney to work with! I wish I had hired her originally. I cannot say enough good things about how she (and her assistant Danielle) helped me with my divorce case. Lisa was easy to work with, always responsive (I live outside of IL), extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, assertive, honest & direct, insightful, and provided excellent advice / recommendations. Lisa provided the information, explanation and her legal recommendation, even if I didn't agree or like it. She provided the unemotional details I needed to make an informed legal decision. My case was being drawn out by my ex and her counsel, but with Lisa's help the case was brought to a (favorable) conclusion in a reasonable amount of time. Lisa and her team helped me navigate through a difficult process and worked extremely hard to deliver favorable results. I give Lisa and her team the highest recommendation for anyone who needs a great attorney to assist in a divorce.

3 years ago If I could give Lisa Giese 12 stars I would! Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and has nothing but the best intentions for her clients. Lisa represented me when I went through what should have been a very easy and "1-2-3 open and closed" divorce. Our children were grown and living on their own and we only had the one home, which I didn't even want. Instead, because of my ex-husband's poor choice of an attorney it turned into a very long drawn out and contentious fight that took over two years. At one point I was so tired of it all I told Lisa I wanted to give up and let him have everything. I'll never forget what she told me. She said she remembered our very first meeting and the "glow" I had looking forward to the next phase in my life and she wasn't going to let them wear me down and give in to them. That really stuck with me. And even though my ex decided he didn't like the judges ruling and filed an appeal to the appellate court Lisa never gave up on me! Lisa is very well known (and liked) by every colleague I ever saw her with. That says a lot to me! Even now, years later I still need Lisa's help with an issue with my ex-husband and she did not hesitate to jump in and help me out. Believe me when I say, you cannot go wrong if you hire Lisa Giese and her firm as your attorney!

There's no words to express the amount of gratitude I have for Lisa and her entire team. She has been my family law attorney for over 5 years and she's absolutely amazing. I came across the website for Blacha Law while searching for a divorce lawyer. Google searching a divorce lawyer instead of using recommendations from friends/colleagues was risky, but after reading the reviews, I made the appointment to meet with Hannah. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to move forward with Blacha Law. Hannah was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, sincere, and very responsive to emails and phone calls. 5 stars I hired Hannah McKinney from the Blacha Law firm.After firing my former Attorney I found Hannah and wished I had her from day 1!!! She is very knowledgeable, and fair and corrected wording on my divorce decree that helped me, while my former Attorney was just all about the money and I was getting nowhere with him!!! Hannah cared, and if I had her from the beginning she would have gotten me more than I was getting!!! Meeting Hannah for the first time lifted a huge weight off my shoulder. She made me feel safe and welcome when listening to the issues that I was dealing with. She is very compassionate, patient and caring. She guided me through my divorce process and made sure I got the best of what I need. She even answered my emails over the weekend. I am very grateful for her effort and dedication to my case. It has been a stressful journey, but Hannah got me though the divorce quickly. I would not have gotten this far without her knowledge and expertise to get this divorce processed in a matter of few months.

I could not be happier with the services provided by Hannah and her team. For the first time ever, I can truly say that I feel that the money I spent on legal representation were well spent and me and my children are better off due to the outcomes that Hannah helped achieve. All around, Hannah was a pleasure to deal with, as much as any litigation can be considered a pleasure, and she provided exactly what she said she would. Hannah acted 100% in he best interest of my children and myself. Billing procedures were stated up front and there were never any of the usual incidents of unreasonable billing what so ever. So refreshing to not have to look for $75.00 "respond to email" charges etc on monthly statement and fully trusting that you were actually paying for legal work and not just "padding" on a statement. This is the first time that I have retained legal services and not walked away with a scummy taste in my mouth and it is truly due to Hannah and her staff being a competent team that truly cares about their clients and will fight for them as well. Cannot express how much of a blessing Hannah and her team have been and I highly recommend them to anyone being in needing family law representation.
