Thank you Jane Nagle ! Going through a divorce is difficult especially when it is not one's choice. When I realized I needed an attorney I began my search. I ruled out those attorneys who mailed me a solicitation the days after the first filing. I interviewed attorneys,read on line reviews, and researched biographies and was most impressed by Jane Nagle of McSwain Nagle & Giese in Wheaton. Jane is exceedingly smart, highly competent in the law, and an outstanding communicator. She represented me in an exemplary fashion and protected my interests that resulted in a very fair settlement to my great relief. She would respond the same day of an inquiry, would press the opposing attorney on outstanding issues, and provided assurance during those times when I was feeling anxious. Her billing was very reasonable and precise and was respectful of my resources. I was and am very fortunate to be represented by Jane Nagle.

Jane Nagle is incredible to work with. From the beginning she will explain in detail what you can expect. She walks you though each step. Best of all she is ALWAYS available to answer questions. I had a ton of questions and was overwhelmed. Jane put my mind at ease.

I had a very pleasant experience working with Jane Nagle. Jane and her team have been very attentive and helpful over the past few years. She helped my husband and I do some estate planning and create a will with very short notice. She was very professional and took time to thoroughly answer questions we had about the whole process.

I hired Lisa as my representative for a post decree child support and child custody case in Kane County. She was responsive and very competent. This is high praise if you knew how I feel about most attorneys. She was also very fair in her billing. Of course lawyers are expensive, but she was honest in her billing hours - often cutting me a break. I have acted pro-se and have dealt with multiple attorneys, mediators, and GALS. She is by far one of the best I have worked with. If you have to work with an attorney in Kane County, she is the way to go.

Lisa Giese was a phenomenal attorney to work with! I wish I had hired her originally. I cannot say enough good things about how she (and her assistant Danielle) helped me with my divorce case. Lisa was easy to work with, always responsive (I live outside of IL), extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, assertive, honest & direct, insightful, and provided excellent advice / recommendations. Lisa provided the information, explanation and her legal recommendation, even if I didn't agree or like it. She provided the unemotional details I needed to make an informed legal decision. My case was being drawn out by my ex and her counsel, but with Lisa's help the case was brought to a (favorable) conclusion in a reasonable amount of time. Lisa and her team helped me navigate through a difficult process and worked extremely hard to deliver favorable results. I give Lisa and her team the highest recommendation for anyone who needs a great attorney to assist in a divorce.

3 years ago If I could give Lisa Giese 12 stars I would! Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and has nothing but the best intentions for her clients. Lisa represented me when I went through what should have been a very easy and "1-2-3 open and closed" divorce. Our children were grown and living on their own and we only had the one home, which I didn't even want. Instead, because of my ex-husband's poor choice of an attorney it turned into a very long drawn out and contentious fight that took over two years. At one point I was so tired of it all I told Lisa I wanted to give up and let him have everything. I'll never forget what she told me. She said she remembered our very first meeting and the "glow" I had looking forward to the next phase in my life and she wasn't going to let them wear me down and give in to them. That really stuck with me. And even though my ex decided he didn't like the judges ruling and filed an appeal to the appellate court Lisa never gave up on me! Lisa is very well known (and liked) by every colleague I ever saw her with. That says a lot to me! Even now, years later I still need Lisa's help with an issue with my ex-husband and she did not hesitate to jump in and help me out. Believe me when I say, you cannot go wrong if you hire Lisa Giese and her firm as your attorney!

There's no words to express the amount of gratitude I have for Lisa and her entire team. She has been my family law attorney for over 5 years and she's absolutely amazing. I live in California and have an extremely busy work schedule. My court case was out of Illinois. My ex was violating a poorly self written court order, I missed out on a summer of parenting time because of it, and I needed help correcting the order before the next summer. To make matters worse, my ex is very manipulative, volatile, and purposefully not helpful. Jessica listened to my frustrations and started working on my case right away. I was able to stay in California while Jessica dealt with my ex and represented me in Illinois court. With Jessica’s help, we were able to correct the parenting agreement in time for the upcoming summer. Everything we hoped to accomplish with my case, Jessica was able to make happen. I was nervous about the whole court process, but Jessica put me at ease with her professionalism, friendly personality, and attention to detail. Years ago, out of irrational anxiety about divorce attorneys and dealing with my ex, I failed to hire an attorney to help me with the divorce process. I paid the price because of it, both emotionally and financially. I ultimately felt defeated and helpless for years. Working with Jessica helped me gain back confidence, and I finally felt like something went in my favor. I highly recommend hiring Jessica as your attorney. Not only do I think she is a great attorney, but also feel she is a good person. She listens to you, gives you solid advice, and will always fight for what is right. I have a few other matters I need to take care of moving forward, and will definitely be reaching out to her for legal representation in the near future. My confidence in her as an attorney helped restore damaged confidence within myself. I should have written this review way earlier in the year, but was busy enjoying time with my children thanks to hiring Jessica as my attorney!

Jessica did a tremendous work on my divorce case. She always communicated with me on time and was available to take my calls. Her advices were accurate and honest. I appreciate her compassionate approach to my case and understanding my children needs. She is very knowledgeable and understands court of law very well. I would recommend her services to anyone.

Ms. Defino did an absolutely amazing job working with me on my case. She was very, very prepared, was excellent in responding to calls, emails and messages, understood the law and worked with with partners of her firm if there were areas that we needed advice and other opinions on.
