My ex-wife filed for divorce in 2016. We were finally divorced after years of litigation in 2019. Was not at all happy with my lawyer at the time or my $23K per month maintenance requirment. Moved to modify my maintenance in 2020 (due to COVID). Second lawyer not much better. Then I met Joe. Was taken aback a bit because he looks young. But he had a lot of good ideas about my case and made it immediately known he was a hard worker. I quickly discovered he is friendly, sociable and very comfortable in the courtroom. Seems to have a rapport with the local judiciary - which is always a good sign. But he can also be adversarial when needed - which is also a good thing. After hearing about my case Joe recommended we try to terminate my maintenance based on my ex-wife’s cohabitation. After three years of litigation and a 7-day bench trial - we won! It is nearly impossible to terminate maintenance in Kane County - but Joe made it happen. Very grateful I found him and would hire him again (although hoping I won’t have to!)

Milon & Peskin is definitely the workmans comp law firm you want to represent you. I was so very happy they represented me in my workmans comp claim. Without them I just don't know where I would be with my work related injury. The company that I was working for just didn't seem to care about my work injury until Milon & Peskin stepped in to represent me. I'm just so happy to know that they exist. Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with, quick to respond to my concerns, and supremely effective. My ex-husband filed to reduce support for me and kids, and I was very worried, but I didn't need to be! Joe was recommended to me by an attorney friend and he did not disappoint.
