Mike was an excellent attorney from the first meeting until our court win. Mike was very straightforward, easy to talk to and thorough in his strategy. He really understood the court process and players and took the time to make sure he had all details from every angle to provide his best advice and defense. I had a highly complicated misdemeanor case and he took it step by step, showing his legal ability, even getting two of the charges thrown out before deliberation. I would highly recommend Mike for any legal situation, trust his skills and knowledge, he is a true professional.

I hired Mr. O'Donnell for a situation that I got caught up on in November of 2017 that consisted of leaving the scene of an accident to also include being charged with hitting a parked vehicle (officially a stop sign). At the time I was a federal employee so it was crucial that this case was handled by a professional that knew how this could possibly damage my reputation holding a government clearance. I ended up paying for the damage to the stop sign and the PA dropped the charges. Thanks Mr. O'Donnell for your hard work on resolving my case.

I was referred to Michael O'Donnell by a well respected attorney from Chicago. I met with Mike at his office in Wheaton and discussed my options reguarding a DUI Charge I received in DuPage County. After hearing what Mike had to say about my charges and hearing my options my Husband & I felt very confident in his ability to represent me for this case that I signed a contract with him that day. Even tho he was only the second attorney I had consulted with. He never made any promises that he knew he couldn't keep. And he was always very up front & honest with me from the first time I met with him up until my last court date. Mike went above and beyond what I expected. He took the time to do his research on specific details of my case. Never once did I doubt or disagree with his approach. Eventually after all toxicology came back we stood firm on the thought that we had a good case. After a few deals were put on the table by the Prosection I felt confident in declining them after talking about them in depth with Mike. We did set a trial date. But before my Trial could even get started Mike was able to get my CHARGES DROPPED with no stipulations. In the time we were waiting on toxicology I never lost my license (not even a single day), had no court costs, never had to get a DUI Evaluation done, nor did I have to complete any Victim Impact Panel or Drug/Alcohol counseling through the state. Mike is great at what he does. If your looking for an up front, honest, no BS attorney then Mike is a great choice. We were EXTREMELY SATISFIED with Mike's services & the outcome of my DUI case. He always responded to my phone calls and/or emails in a very reasonable amount of time. Usually his response was the same day or first thing in the morning the following day. Mike's rates are very reasonable especially given how much experience he has practicing law & his extensive knowledge of the laws. Mike was very professional and took time out to ask lots of questions regarding the case that was to go before the judge. There were a number of charges associated with the case and Mike was able to work with the county prosecutor for a very favorable outcome. As a result of a couple poor choices I made, I was arrested in Dupage County for DUI (July 2015) and again in Cook County (May 2016) I drive trucks for a living, so not only my regular drivers license was at stake but my CDL and job were on the line as well! I was extremely nervous to say the least.......... I contacted many lawyers for consultation, and found that Mr. O'Donnell was one of the most experienced attorneys in the area. He has been prosecutor and defense for many years, so he knows both sides of the courtroom process, which worked out great! **** My case was complex because there was a minor traffic accident involved, but Mr. O'Donnell handled it with ease. He was able to get the initial license suspension lifted so I was able to continue working, and when it came time for trial, he was able to produce a judge's finding of NOT GUILTY! A tremendous relief!!! As for the second one in Cook County... Again, he was able to get the initial license suspension recinded, and had the entire case dismissed without even going to trial!! Unbelievable!! Throughout the entire process he was very professional, but also very friendly, easy to talk to and get along with. I definitely won't be making these types of mistakes again, but if you or anyone you know has... Do yourselves a huge favor and call Mr. O'Donnell immediately!!! I'm incredibly grateful I did, and can't thank him enough! It being my first time getting into legal trouble, I spoke to a lot of different lawyers. Many briefly explaining the process and telling me that they charge per court. I contacted Michael O'Donnell and was immediately put at ease. He let me know what my best choices were and what would happen with each charge. He would keep in constant contact with me about what was going on with my case. To begin with he quickly found a way to keep my license from getting suspended and he was able to get my DUI charge dismissed through submitting mitigation to the prosecutor. I got the best possible outcome because of him. He also charged me less money than any other attorney I spoke to. I would probably be in serious debt with any other attorney. I'm very happy that he was the one to handle my case.

Mike was a great attorney. Throughout the process of first speaking with him, and then meeting him he was definitely all in and thought we had a strong case. This being my first case I have been in, he made me feel comfortable and helped me with any concerns or questions I had. Whenever I needed to get a hold of him, he was quick to respond. My case was dismissed and although it was a very long process, he never gave up or thought we were going to get a different result. I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. O'Donnell did an AMAZING job on my son's case. My son decided to to take his case to trial and he won the case. I really real this may not of been the case with a different attorney. He was great at keeping us informed and up to date on what was happening with the case. When you are in the middle of something that could be potentially life changing this is vital and I am sorry to say that not all attorneys (no matter what you pay them) do this. I will forever have his number on my and my children's speed dials. ( Sorry, But you never know in this this area, the people are crazy form my experience) I would recommend him any day of the week. Not only was he hard working, in my mind the cost was very reasonable and he worked with us on payments (again most want HUGE payment up front before they will even talk to you) but he WON OUR CASE!
