Mister Barrientes is easy to talk to, and gives you realistic expectations explained in a way that makes sense. He is a step up from previous attorneys I've worked with, and I wish I had used him from the very start of my case.

I’ve been a client of Mr. Jesse Barrientes for about a year. Mr. Barrientes is knowledgeable of the law, responsive, and displays the upmost professionalism in all transactions. Aside from his vast knowledge and professionalism, I also appreciate the human side and compassion he conveys to his clientele. Jesse did an amazing job thru my divorce proceedings. He kept in me well informed and provided excellent counseling as to what needs to be done going forward. I highly recommend Mr. Barrientes for you and your family attorney needs.

Jesse helped us with our closing of our first home. He made it a very enjoyable process. He worked very hard and did an outstanding job. Jesse has represented my family for years and has become part of my family. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us great advice.

I cannot even begin to say enough nice things about Jesse. But to summarize….he was the 3rd lawyer I have had since I got divorced. My first lawyer experience left me with all kinds of problems down the road that I never could have anticipated, as I did not know anything about anything when first getting divorced. (i.e. making sure child tax deductions were fairly split between my children’s father and myself….ensuring a transportation plan that was fair for all….having a mandatory review of parenting schedule that allowed for changes in kids’ schedules as they aged through the school years…etc etc). As a result, I eventually had to hire another lawyer to help me tackle the child tax deduction issue, and was met with an onslaught of legal badgering and, in my mind, harassment, from my ex-husband and his attorney. This second lawyer I hired was great on many levels, but also very new/green, and never seemed to see the dirty tricks coming from my ex-husband’s lawyer before they happened, so did not help me with pre-empting anything. Long story short, and 2.5 emotionally painful and financially draning years after taking my ex-husband to court to fix the problems from my first lawyer’s dismal work, I was introduced to Jesse by some mutual friends. He was, simply, AMAZING. He has so much experience, and SUCH great wisdom in how he approaches things. He not only helped me finally get all these past years’ of lawyering messes cleaned up within 6 weeks, he helped me stay sane, and focused on the big picture. He gives true meaning to the word “counselor”, as he counseled me multiple times. He cut to the chase with my ex-husband’s lawyer, and was able to make sure all the distraction tactics she was using to drag things out and financially drain me, were quickly put to a stop. He reminded me the importance of meditation, and to stay focused on my CHILDREN, versus trying to “win” a fight against their dad. I just wish that I had met Jesse 9 years ago! But, I am very thankful that I finally was steered towards him. Experience, wisdom, and genuine care for others (along with a communicated respect for the other legal parties involved too, which of course helped me try to stay in that healthy space) embody who Jesse is, and how he works. Having never needed to use a lawyer, I was at a loss when my ex served me child support papers after disappearing w/my daughter for almost 18 years. He was recommended to me by a friend who used him, I talked to him and he took my case. He got me through a very difficult time, was very pleasant, understanding, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. He helped me navigate the legal waters of my particular situation with ease, and even though I hope I don't ever "need" to use him again, I would have no question I would call upon him if the need ever arose. Cannot say enough good things about him, he is simply the best there is.

Jesse works very hard and does an outstanding job. Jesse has represented us for years and is always available to help & answer questions. If you need an attorney then you need to retain Jesse he will do everything possible to help you.

I used Jesse for my divorce. He made everything very easy for me. He was very through on all the paperwork and didn’t leave any stone unturned. He really knows what he is doing and is very knowledgeable. In addition, he was personable, easy to talk to and understanding. He answered any questions above and beyond and kept me informed throughout the process. He definitely has a lot of experience and knows the laws forward and backward. Jesse was very informative and prompt when handling my case. I was referred to him from a close friend who also was represented by Jesse and was very pleased with his services. My case was prolonged due to the fault of the other party involved, but Jesse took extreme measures to ensure we were heard and sped up the process as much as possible. In the early 90s I used Jesse . He was a young up and coming attorney . I met him through his girlfriend at the time who I worked with at Midwest Mortgage . Jesse did an amazing job and he hadn't been practicing very long . He did such a good job the judge that day called 5 Elmhurst Police officers in to his private chambers to chew each and every one of them out for illegal entry , no probable cause , and not following proper procedures and protocols. Jesse and I celebrated after court that day . He roasted these guys in court . They didn't have a frickn chance against Jesse . That was 27 years ago .
