Genuinely one of the most caring people I have met. I had no clue where to even begin to navigate a court case or how to get help. He not only helped advice me with what to do next with my fiances case, but he also walked me through the entire process so I understood all possible outcomes. He checked up on me emotionally as well and took the time to fully understand my situation, something every other lawyer didn’t even consider. He answered every call even if he was busy and he would make sure he made time later if he couldn’t talk. I am beyond grateful for your help getting my fiance out and keeping my head on straight through the process. I’d recommend him to everyone no questions.

Hi everyone, I want to sincerely appreciate PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for the dedication and time they put in working my credit. I had 4 charges off accounts (3 cc and 1 installment loan). I do have 2 cards with longevity and bad payment history though lower limits ($1200 and $850) and a car loan with 7 late time payments reflecting. During my financial struggles NFC closed the 2-credit card accounts I had with them. I also had a chapter 7 BK in 2020. I did have high utilization and few late payments (over more than 10 days late). The account closure dropped my scores because the balances took my utilization to 990%. I continued making payments on time until a friend read about PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST on Quora and informed me, I contacted them after reading some testimonies about them, they ran my credit report, analyzed my credit score and determined which action will have the greatest impact. They raised my credit score to 803 and deleted all negative items on my credit report including the chapter 7 BK, within 6 days. They made it work and I have a clean profile now. My heart is full of gratitude. You can reach them via:

When we came to Dustin, we didn't think we had a way out of our situation. Rather than treat us like a number, Dustin was thoughtful and knowledgeable about the pertinent case law that he found a way to help us. Despite a pandemic and other crises, we have not had one single problem throughout the course of our case thanks to our lawyer, Mr Allen. If you need financial help don't call a bankruptcy shop lawyer, with a private lawyer such as Dustin, he actually has time to consider you as a person or a family. He will do what's right and find the help you need.

I have had to deal with many attorneys in my life for various situations and Dustin hands down has been the best to work with. With other attorneys I often felt like I was hunting them down for answers and with Dustin it was never that. He would often reach out to touch base with me to see if there were any updates on my end. He is extremely considerate and compassionate for what your going through and extremely knowledgeable. I’m so grateful and blessed that he is the attorney I got through this difficult time, made the transition a lot easier!

Nancy's great advice and plain talk yesterday in a contentious custody hearing yesterday enabled me to realise a critical mistake I was making keeping me from the daughters who love me. With very few words she helped me understand exactly what I needed to do to get my kids back.

We worked with Dave to create a Final Will and Testament in order to secure our family's future security. Dave was extremely knowledgeable and helped us feel more at ease with such a set of important decisions. We were nervous about having to think through some difficult questions, but Dave's knowledge, compassion and wisdom helped us put our minds at ease. We also worked with Dave during the sale of our home. He guided us through the various complicated legal documents and explained everything in an extremely clear manner. His ability to translate "legalese" to a layman was quite impressive and reassuring. I would strongly recommend Dave Martin's services to anyone. He is a professional in every sense of the word.

David was very helpful in obtaining court documents along with submitting them to the proper officials. Even though this was a smaller matter he still treated the work as a priority and everything was accomplished very quick. He is a real pleasure to work with and I will be hiring him for future legal matters.

I used David as the attorney for the closing on my house and also for estate planning. He was very friendly, helpful, conscientious and knowledgeable. His fee was also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend, and plan on using in the future as needed.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Wheaton, Illinois?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
