Pat was able to quickly assess what was technically a potentially complex set of circumstances...circumstances that had major consequences for our teenaged son. Pat was knowledgable, knew the local system and showed great aplomb in representing us. In fact, at one point - while in court - the judge publicly commended Pat for being a good lawyer. Part of that may have been posturing but it's nonetheless true. This specific case called for the utmost patience, and Pat went the extra-mile and showed a commitment to the big picture: a family in turmoil. What I found most impressive was Pat's genuine compassion on a human level. He related well to us as parents, but also took the time to really understand where our son was at and what was challenging him. High marks for Pat!

Don't waste your time.

Pat handled the case efficiently. At the final court date, he stated that I had a balance credit on my account and that he would go back to the office later that day and mail me the final paperwork and cut me a check. I received the paperwork within one week but no check. So, I patiently waited three weeks and then emailed him. To which, he responded by saying he would email me my statement the next week. The next week goes by, still no email or check. I reached out to remind him he said I would receive a statement. Later that day, I received a statement that stated I owed $400+ dollars. When I reviewed the statement, I found duplicate entries for the same dates (double charges) and some charges for dates not even listed as service dates at the top of the statement. In short, either he thought I would cut a check without looking at the bill or he didn't look at it before he sent it to me. I then went back to review a previous statement to discover he charged an hourly rate that was different than the fee agreement I signed. Ironically, the first statement showed a higher fee than the second statement. I contacted him. His response was he knew he noticed he was having software billing issues and that he would correct it this weekend. He also stated that he raised his hourly fee (not sure why the first statement should a higher rate than the second...this would be the case if one lowered his fee). Long story short, another email and call to him...still waiting for the statement and the check almost 8 weeks since the close of the case. Again, Pat walked me through the process and kept me in informed along the way with the exception of transparent billing practices.

Pat has provided guidance and consultation for multiple motions that have been filed in regards to the support of my children. He has the ability to remove emotion and get the parties to solutions. I am grateful for his knowledge and guidance for the 20 times that I have been called back to court since my divorce.
