Very good lawyer!

My experience with Lisa Giese and her team at Kollias & Giese has been absolutely amazing! A friend of mine, who is a reputable lawyer in Chicago, referred me to Lisa stating she was the best family lawyer in DuPage County. Seeing her work in action with my case, I completely agree! The amount of dedication and support Lisa has provided me and my family with since day 1 has been nothing but exceptional! I was expecting my case to be a nightmare, but so far it's been a dream come true. Lisa has always been there to address my concerns, provide expert advice, constantly keeps me informed of any updates and does everything she can to provide us with the best possible outcome! Learn from my mistakes. I was married for 19 years, while I focused on being a good mom, my xhusbands focus was alcohol. Finally I had enough..I didn't have much money becuz my x was sneaky and thoughtless. Money was gone, hidden who knows...but I took the little I had s hired an attorney. She didn't really know the revised divorce laws and my x hired a very experienced attorney from the city. So after s year of basically fees with no results, she handed me off to her sister, this is where it gets interesting. After dealing with her sister and having her sister represent me in a pre-trial I began to have some doubts. I googled her, to my shock and horror she was practicing with a suspended license. I fired her immediately and found another attorney who happily took my money. He really did nothing to move things along, argued with me trying to accept a deal that was not equitable on my behalf. One day I called my x to confirm something and my x casually mentions that he spoke to my attorney over the phone. Again, horrfied and confused snd eight weeks from trial I had to find someone else. It was not an issue if money anymore, I needed someone dedicated, organized and determined. I interviewed Dan Kollias and knew he was the one. Dan had a huge mess to clean up and filter throught almost two years of paperwork. He came in on weekends, responded to every email, every call, kept me apprised as to what was going on. The piece of mind was priceless. I knew he would get the job done and he did. It's finally over, after almost two years and lots of bs I am happily divorced and happy with my settlement. It's been about a year now since the first time I looked to Mullen and Winthers for legal advice. They are timely, clear, and thorough. As a result, they have very quickly earned my respect and future business.

Dan is an excellent attorney. He let me know everything he could do for my case and made sure he was always a step ahead. He was very honest and always kept me in the loop of what was going on in my case. As a father in DuPage county he helped me get the primary residential custody of my son and recieve child support. He is very knowledgeable of the law. When the time came he had no problem fighting for me.

Let me start off by saying, I dont have a lot of money. I did not flinch when i got my final bill, due to the professional manner that Daniel handled my case. My case was a long case and had a lot of ups and downs. He held my hand the whole way thru. He responded to everything fast! There are emotional times in divorce, where you want to blow up on your attorney, Daniel took it all. He understands when there are children involved emotions run hot! He always put my mind at ease and explained everything. At first I was really upset with never getting good news. Then I figured out lawyers are like doctors. When they tell you that you have 3 months to live, then you never die you are happy! Well that was my case... I was always dying, but then I felt alive as I walked out of the court room! I can also say this. As I went through a couple trials, I clearly saw how prepared Daniel was! He had everything prepared, typed out, a copy for me, and everything bullet pointed. At first I thought nothing of it until I saw my exs attorney fumbling thru books and paperwork in the process of the trials. Also as i watched other trials to mentally prepare for my own, I later appreciated Daniels attention to detail. Bottom line is, I would highly recommend Daniel!

I found Dan Kollias during an internet search for a divorce lawyer. He and his staff were very professional and thorough during my divorce process. Dan is very knowledgeable of divorce law and always made sure I understood the reality of the law and how it would effect me. I liked the fact that Dan, with his years of experience, would tell me what was possible and what was not possible regarding my case and that really impressed me. Dan was very proactive when preparing my case. He asked for information that felt would help my case. To me, that demonstrated his knowledge and experience from his years of representing clients. From a financial viewpoint, I never felt that Dan overcharged me or provided any services that were not warranted. Dan also has an excellent staff working for him. I could call anytime during business hours and speak with his assistant who was professional and friendly and made sure my questions were answered or forwarded to Dan. If I did have a question that only Dan could answer, he would get back to me with an answer within 24 hours or as soon as he could get the answer. I highly recommend Dan Kollias if you are in need of a divorce lawyer.

Dan did a wonderful job representing and ultimately winning my case. He was very professional, compassionate and a great communicator. I have struggled for years with my ex changing amount of child support, paying what he felt like or not paying at all. Dan stepped in during a very difficult time and helped me define more precise requirements we would ask the court to hold my ex to. They ended up settling out of court with us because our case was so strong. A big and important victory for my family.
