Michael R. Stetler is very knowledgeable and respectful. He was also quick to respond. He got my divorce done in about 21 days.

I hired Michael in a somewhat contentious divorce. I would say he was firm, consistent, but fair throughout. He told me what I needed to know and kept me fully informed in the whole case. He did a good job in pushing the issues that needed to be pushed when they could. Also, he was less expensive than other lawyers I talked to with similar experience, but I liked that he was straightforward and didn't seem like he was trying to tell me just what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to know.

You can’t go wrong with Michael. He is going to work hard for you. Never at any time did I feel like I was in limbo or out of the loop with what was going on.

Mr. Stetler represented me in my recent divorce and I would highly recommend him, he exceeded my expectations by far. It was not too messy of a divorce but he absolutely was able to head off any situations/accusations that could have otherwise (in my opinion) gotten messy. Used Attorney Stetler for a case involving educational support for my college-bound son, brought unnecessarily into court by his mother. I will only state the facts about his services because that is all that is needed when an attorney simply does his/her job. Attorney Stetler was reasonably priced (I know, right?), precise, thorough, and to the point. He did not engage in unnecessary actions that would have increased my costs, he kept me abreast of all court proceedings, and finally, he made it a point to send me a clear and direct break-down of my bill. I met Michael as my attorney when he first started out, he was working for another firm, he handled my case professionaly with reguard to my needs as soon to be single father, the outcome was were we thought it would be, fair and equitable, soon after Michael opened his own firm, I again needed his service and found the same caring and well educated attorney, but this time he was in controll of the billing and his fairness towards his clients pocket bookstore dealing with my problems alittle more bearable. During our initial consultation, Michael eased my mind by asking me for my side of the story, contrasted this against the X’s, then pulled out case law which he could use to justify our planned outcome. During the entire custody process I felt informed while in control of the process. There were a few times in which I was presented with legal options, Michael expressed all of the pros as well as the cons of each decision. In the end, he allowed me to make the decisions based upon all of the information he had presented. In the end we ended up where we predicted at the beginning of the case. At no time did I feel like I was being billed for the sake of billing, which I experienced with other attorneys. I am thankful to have Michael on my side and will recommend him to anyone faced with a family law situation.
