Being both knowledgeable and personable Tom helped make my legal real estate experience much less painful than I had anticipated. I had the odd problem of wanting to give my house back to the bank and be relieved of my indebtedness. Although not a normal way to go about foreclosure Tom had enough knowledge of the real estate world to make it happen for me. I am now free and clear of that mortgage. I hired Tom to help me navigate options to resolve confusing private student loan debt with compounding interest and late fees. Tom was knowledgeable about the systems and shared my options (not just bankruptcy) as well as a recommendation. He clearly communicated next steps and how he could facilitate. Before I chose Tom as my lawyer, I experienced lawyers who were ambiguous about their terms, only wanted to focus on bankruptcy, or who did not educate me about what before/during/after such a debt might look.
