I was recommended Daniel Calhoun by a lawyer I was originally planning on hiring. Unfortunately, my first choice was not able to represent me in the county of my offense. So I called Calhoun. After our conversation he told me he would get back to me, at latest, that coming Tuesday. Over a week passes since that Tuesday, so I called again, but with intentions of informing him I found new representation and would no longer need his assistance. However, the most bothersome aspect of my interactions with Calhoun have nothing to do with punctuality. Admittedly I was frustrated this past time I called; the first words to exit my mouth were, "Hello, do you remember me, Mr. Calhoun?" Perturbed by my curtness, he replies yes and that he tried contacting me SEVERAL times last week...but that my phone "wasn't working." If my phone was allegedly malfunctioning, how is it that the lawyer I contacted after him had no issue calling back to leave voicemails that same week. Additionally, I did not even have one missed called all week from Calhoun's office. I checked all the foreign numbers on my missed calls list, looked them up, and was able to find the source of each. None of them were Calhoun. I regularly receive calls, not just from out of state, but internationally. Which leaves me confused as to why my phone "wasn't working" for Calhoun and only Calhoun. After his claim, I began to rebuttal and was spoken over. At which point, I gave up, told him, "well I just wanted you to know I found new representation." At which point he said, "good luck," and hung up. On Calhoun's main website, he claims to handle cases, in an "aggressive and passionate" style- and it certainly carries on to his style of handling clients as well. I'm not belittling his knowledge, just his professionalism. THIS JUST IN: I finally get a call back after this review. Funny. Guess my phone works now, right Mr. Calhoun?

Great lawyer. Handled my case just like he said he would do n got good results. Attorney Calhoun ain't like other lawyers ive had. He has no problem talkin to me and I don't get billed every time I call when its only for a min or to. Highly recomended
