The first public defender for my husband's case that has actually taken the time to meet with him and explain things that most public defenders in Noble county don't. He was also very responsive to my emails and phone calls and replied in a very timely manner.

Gevers law office team was incompetent and following the initial sales pitch, showed absolutely no interest in handling my case. I paid Mr. Gevers $300/hr, but received a far worse experience than I’d expect from a public defender. .:INCOMPETENCE:. My case was an OWI charge, but I was below the legal limit. All it took was the prosecutor looking at my case to dismiss it, but unfortunately this took over 5 months. It took an additional 2 months for the correct paperwork to be filed to reinstate my license. I was without my license for 7 months! My case was delayed on 3 occasions because Mr. Gevers was never available for court. One time I cancelled a business trip to California, and as I was arriving on the footsteps of the court, I was called by the office informing they rescheduled my date. .:LACK OF CONCERN:. Still my license is on probation - which according to law it shouldn’t be, but Mr Gevers has ignored my many request and questions regarding this issue. They also ignored my emails constantly throughout the handling of my case. This is not meant to be an attack on the Mr. Gevers’ prowess and knowledge of the law, rather on how you will be treated if you become a client of Mr. Gevers.

I've spoken with several other lawyers trying to get my issue with the BMV resolved and all were at least somewhat unsure what to do. In one brief meeting with Greg he was able to determine there was a mistake on file with the BMV and reinstate my driving privileges is less than a month.
