Hired Mr. Ellis to do a felony modification to a misdemeanor. I hired him Tuesday and modification was signed and approved by state on Friday. Very communicative, kind and friendly. Will recommend him to anyone in need! One of the best IF NOT the best lawyer in Fort Wayne!

I paid Jon Olinger a retainer fee of $2692 to represent my son in a child custody case. I was the "billing contact" ONLY according to the contract. I never received a bill although I asked several times (not that I feel Jon Olinger deserved another penny, I actually believe he owes a refund). There was little to no progress in my son's case. Jon Olinger made promises during the consultation he couldn't keep, such as this case would be over in 3-4 months. Needless to say, my son hired him in December. The communication in this law office is terrible and I believe goes against ethical practice (attorney-client confidentiality). This law firm would NEVER return my son, their client, telephone calls related to his case. I finally received ONE bill after Jon Olinger gave my son's entire case file to me (without my son knowledge, without me showing any identification or even signing for the case file). The charges on the bill are false/inaccurate which is why I believe I never received a bill prior. I'm currently in the process of asking for an investigation to be launch against this law office. Jon file a motion to have himself remove from the case (once he drain all the retainer fee). He abandoned my son, his client, without any legal representation and without any money to obtain another attorney. LOWDOWN and DIRTY

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. If you are thinking about hiring this attorney to represent you, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be aware and do your research. Over $2600 dollars spent on this attorney was a waste of money and time. I feel he tried to get as much as he could for doing as little as possible. All I want as a father is what the law states I'm entitle to as a father, fair visitation and time with my kids. The child custody case is ongoing so I had to hire another attorney that I feel actually cares. However, this is not over with. I had to file a complaint with The Disciplinary Commission due to his unethical practice such as releasing my entire case file to a family member (my mother) without my permission. So much for attorney-client confidentiality. So much more has occurred. The comments about this law office lack of communication was also proven to be true in my case. Please do your research about this attorney before hiring him. Based on my experience with Jon Olinger and staff, hiring him was one of the biggest mistake of my life. Jon and Amber were absolutely amazing through my whole divorce and custody process. They were attentive, explained & reassured every detail to me. Even with me in another state they made sure everything was taken care of. Jon is very aggressive in fighting for what is right! Jon has a genuine heart for helping others & that is rare to find these days. You can definitely point him out in a court room. His front desk gal was always attentive and kind as well! You guys are awesome!

**COMMUNICATION IS KEY** I've had a fair amount of experience with attorneys and none compare to this guy. The amount of communication thru phone calls and emails was unlike anything I have ever received from any other attorney. Hands down the Best I have seen and my new attorney for life. Give this man a shot, you will not regret it.
