A horrible lawyer

I paid Jon Olinger a retainer fee of $2692 to represent my son in a child custody case. I was the "billing contact" ONLY according to the contract. I never received a bill although I asked several times (not that I feel Jon Olinger deserved another penny, I actually believe he owes a refund). There was little to no progress in my son's case. Jon Olinger made promises during the consultation he couldn't keep, such as this case would be over in 3-4 months. Needless to say, my son hired him in December. The communication in this law office is terrible and I believe goes against ethical practice (attorney-client confidentiality). This law firm would NEVER return my son, their client, telephone calls related to his case. I finally received ONE bill after Jon Olinger gave my son's entire case file to me (without my son knowledge, without me showing any identification or even signing for the case file). The charges on the bill are false/inaccurate which is why I believe I never received a bill prior. I'm currently in the process of asking for an investigation to be launch against this law office. Jon file a motion to have himself remove from the case (once he drain all the retainer fee). He abandoned my son, his client, without any legal representation and without any money to obtain another attorney. LOWDOWN and DIRTY

Jon and Amber were absolutely amazing through my whole divorce and custody process. They were attentive, explained & reassured every detail to me. Even with me in another state they made sure everything was taken care of. Jon is very aggressive in fighting for what is right! Jon has a genuine heart for helping others & that is rare to find these days. You can definitely point him out in a court room. His front desk gal was always attentive and kind as well! You guys are awesome!

Jon was AMAZING in the courtroom, he was knowledgeable, and prepared and we won our case. It was a custody dispute (ex-husband kept my girls from me without cause, for 5 months). Also, he had a flat rate which I appreciated. Although, outside the courthouse, he was terrible about getting in touch, answering his phone, or calling back. He's staff was super sweet, until she quit. He was 5 mins late to court, so we didn't go over anything, his papers were even unorganized. He's knowledgeable, definitely not organized. Not going to lie, I was pretty worried; but like I mentioned, he won the case and was very good IN the courtroom.

Aaron has been an absolutely amazing attorney. I hired to him to represent me in a case where I was guilty as sin. Initially, I could not bring myself to admit to being guilty of a crime. Aaron told me not what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to, and he explained in great detail why taking a plea would be a much better solution for me than going to a trial. Aaron negotiated the best possible plea for me, and has been extremely helpful in preparation for sentencing. He has answered all my questions, usually within an hour or 2, or at the latest before the end of the day. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!
