I'm not sure if this is a common practice, but the receptionist did not seem to want to help me when I called to ask a general question. I didn't need legal advice, but she wouldn't even entertain the question or allow me to even ask. All I needed to know was how long of a time frame does a judge have to rule on a small claims court case. Apparently, that's too much to answer... UPDATE: I was never rude to your receptionist, Pam. You can review the audio for yourself, I'm sure there's a recorded line. I called and asked, after saying hello and good afternoon, if there was someone there who can answer a general question. She told me no, flatly and rudely. So, it's my word against hers. Also, I have no problem with a male or female telling me no to anything. So don't try to stir up drama and use the fact that I'm a man and she's a woman. I called two other law firms before I reach yours, one was for criminal defense and the other couldn't verify the information I asked. They were willing to answer my question, since it was general. As I stated on the phone, and I was never rude about anything but I questioned whether or not anyone else could answer my question, ***I did not need legal advice***. I was asking a general question as stated in my first review. The question had to do with the time frame on a pending judgment. That is not legal advice nor is that something you guys are not able to answer over the phone. Please do not stir up this situation as though I'm some rude and inconsiderate male who has A problem with women telling me no. Your receptionist did not want to help me because I was not a client. That is what was stated on the phone. She asked if I was a client first, to which I told her no and she said that she cannot help me with legal advice. Again, I never asked for legal advice. I asked for common information that I probably could have googled over the internet. Thank you and have a great day!
