We used attorney Adriana Zeljkovic. She put a ton of hard work and dedication into our case. She was prepared for the absolute worst case scenario. We were informed every step of the way. We personally ended up with the best results imaginable for our case. The case was dismissed. Even if it had not turned out that way Adriana was informed, prepared, and professional. She helped us be prepared for what was coming as well. She recommended a great custody attorney. I remember crossing my fingers hoping the attorney would fight as hard as Adriana does and she did. I absolutely trust her advice. I am thankful the case is over, but I'm also thankful she was there for us through it. She also worked with us on payments. We still have a little ways to go on that, but at the end of the day she was worth every penny spent. The case was out of town a good way. She had no problem commuting, zooming, whatever it was she needed to do. She was there every step of the way. I spoke with many attorney's prior to Adriana she took a more strong defensive approach than other attorneys from the beginning. If I had a single thing I'd do differently it would have just been calling Adriana much sooner in the case. I am very thankful to know such a hardworking, dedicated attorney. I hope we wont need her for any thing like this again, but if you find yourself in a tough situation calling Adriana right away is my recommendation.

My experience hiring this law firm was a bit of a rollercoaster but in the end my goals were 100% met. I was appointed associate attorney James Buikema. Initially after discussing my case with the state, James notified me that I would need to appear in court. I asked him if he could appear on my behalf as the location was a 4 hour drive from me. He told me I needed to appear in person. On the day of my court date, James did not show. Instead someone else I hadn't met with came in his place. This was not communicated to me in advance. When it was time for my court date to commence, no one was in the courtroom. James had given us the wrong courtroom address. When we drove over to the correct address we learned that neither of us needed to show in person and that the entire exchange could've been handled through email. Obviously, the lack in communication and unnecessary trip I took left me extremely disappointed. Fortunately, after a quick conversation James was able to turn this experience around. He went and found a custom solution to fit an unusual and unique need that I had. He double and triple checked documents proposed and was thorough in answering any questions I could think of. He even offered extended mediative support beyond what I believe our original counsel agreement included. Despite the initial hiccups, James was committed to doing what he could to save my experience and in turn considerably improved the overall service rendered. I am completely satisfied with the outcome I obtained through hiring this firm and I do believe that James is a good attorney.
