My fiancé and I recently went through a legal situation which resulted in him being put on probation and being arrested. We have five children and needed him home to help me because I was having some health issues after giving birth to our son in April. Denise and her paralegal Monica, who is very professional and helpful, was the second law office we had retained let me just say they should have been first. Denise is straightforward, compassionate, and she gets the job done, quickly and correctly if I do say so myself. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!!!

Terrified, Heartbroken and Confused I called upon Denise Turner after a bad experience with my 17 year old son's first attorney while he was in jail and being charged as an adult for 2 major felonies. He was facing 80 or more years in prison at 17 years old! The first attorney wasn't responding to calls or texts from us. We were scared and needed guidance and all she could say was the wheels of justice are slow and she already spent 6 hours with my son and that took lots of time and resources already. I was outraged because because my son was facing losing his life but she just worried about how talking to him for even a few minutes to ease his mind was an inconvenience and a loss in resources. As a mother I wanted an attorney who cared about my son and didn't see him as just a paycheck but a human being who has rights and the right to a good defense. So, my brother recommended Denise Turner who had helped him with a matter in the past. I spoke to Denise Turner for just a few minutes and in that few minutes time she gave me more information about my son's case than his first attorney and I knew instantly I had made the right decision. She was kind and caring and showed me enthusiasm about his case and based off of what she saw she knew she could help him out and best of all prove he wasn't guilty or culpable for what had happened and she was firece in his defense. My son was just a 17 year old kid in a grown up jail and situation. She answered every single call he made to her, she answered all his questions and did all she could to ease his mind and help him mentally maintain by just simply doing an amazing job and showing she cared. Due to the fact my son had turned 18 while in jail, he now could legally decide on his own defense and the fear of facing 80-100 years on the off chance of being found guilty, although Denise assured him he would most likely walk a free man, and against Denises counsel for a jury trial, my son decided he'd not chance it and just do a plea. Denise worked out a great plea for him that he could live with and when he accepted it we went for sentencing. Denise hired a wonderful social worker and she was able to show the judge the kind of person my son was and she got the judge to understand him and see him as a person and understand what happened that fateful night. At sentencing when my son gave his short testimony I even saw Denise shed a small tear, as his statement was so emotional and heartfelt as he had the entire court room in tears. Besides a judgement of not guilty, being something we would of loved, my son decided on a plea and Denise Turner argued for the lightest sentence possible for which my son was granted. He went from facing 80 to 100 years gone, to getting out of jail after almost two years of fighting for his life!! My son received pretty much all non-reporting probation after he completes some mental health treatment to deal with the traumatic events he's dealt with as a result of all that has happened to him, as he suffers from PTSD after all he witnessed that night. This outcome is due to the dedicated hard work Denise has put into this case. Without her constant support and effort this could've been so different, my son now can have a life and he's applied to college and is employed and looking forward to a full and happy life he almost lost if not for Denise!! Denise is not your average attorney, she excels at what she does, she knows the courts and the people who work within them. She is caring and takes every case to heart because she is passionate about helping those in need!!!!
