I was very distraught and overwhelmed with everything that’s going on in my life. I called in and an angel named Esmeralda answer the phone. Not only did she genuinely make me feel like she truly cares about me which is something that I really really needed right now. I’m 52 years of age and I’m suffering from extreme depression and PTSD and bipolar.. Esmeralda gave me faith and hope that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. I have multiple cardiac diagnoses, which all boil down to chronic heart failure. This was a huge blow in 2021 after graduating with my special education teaching degree in 2020 at the age of 49. By 2023, I was unable to physically keep up with the demands of my passion. I knew I needed an attorney to help me through the process of filing for SSDI. I reached out to a couple who just didn’t make me feel comfortable then I talked to Hensley. They were extremely upfront and honest with me and after a few conversations, I was ecstatic that they felt I had a good chance of being accepted. I felt comfortable reaching out to Brianne any time I had a question or concern. The process was long and frustrating at times, but I felt like they always had my back. When I received the notice (18 months after applying) Brianne was as excited as I was! I felt we created a bond over the months and that her empathy was genuine. I truly believe I wouldn’t have been approved with my first application had I not had Hensley working with me.
