I had the misfortune of having my pandemic unemployment insurance stopped during the crisis. I turned to John Haskin & Associates. I had the good fortune of meeting Shannon Melton, Attorney At Law. With Shannon at the helm, my case was professionally presented and negotiated. At the final hearing, Shannon was professional, funny and informative. I won my case, which meant I no longer owed the DWD $20k, but actually got reimbursed from the lost pandemic payments, which was over $10k. Their legal services was less than $3k. I wasn't going walk away from anything i fervently believed was my right, and Shannon as my captain, I prevailed. I learned a lot, cried a little but I'm smiling big! So I called on behalf of one of my best friends whom is a disabled vet and is being mistreated bye his employer hince the word "disabled vet " anyway I was just trying to explain the situation and the receptionist said before I could that he is going to have to call in , I then begin to say I know that but stopped and said never mind ......food for thought maybe my friend mentality won't let him call in , maybe he has trust issues or just diffrent and the only for me to direct them to someone is if we speak in general, ofcourse we cant go into detail but there is a general rule of law when dealing with discrimination
