I had a contract signed with Parks Pifer, he has now broke it. I am seeking an additional 50,000 in damages due to him not following through with the agreement with this firm

I hired Kathleen Sweeney after receiving a riveting recommendation from a prior client. He was facing Class D felony charges in State court and realized in the 11th hour that his attorney lacked experience. He changed attorneys to Kathleen one day before heading to court. Once there she plea bargained like a bulldog, not letting go of the prosecutor until she had an acceptable deal with no jail time on the table. I knew Kathleen was the attorney for me. I subsequently witnessed Kathleen’s defense of a colleague during sentencing in Federal court. He had pled guilty and was facing a court recommendation of 110-180 months of incarceration. She spent significant time preparing for his defense. She genuinely cared about the outcome. Despite the prosecutor’s prior refusal to plea bargain, Kathleen was very persuasive in gaining agreement to refute claims for financial restitution. She also had done considerable research and presented numerous behavioral studies to the court in support of a reduced sentence. She was professional, but assertive, in challenging the judge’s perspectives on key topics affecting the sentencing. These factors, along with critical feedback she provided to aid our colleague’s statement to the court, influenced the judge to render a sentence significantly below federal guidelines. Kathleen knows the law, she is very persuasive, and has the experience and relationships that make the critical difference. She is an amazing lawyer. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a criminal defense attorney. I also consider Kathleen a very personable, caring, & honest attorney. In my case, she made special arrangements to protect the confidentiality of therapy sessions I attended. Similar arrangements were made for a polygraph I took to share with my family. After many legal planning sessions, she reached out to law enforcement and discerned that no state or federal charges would be filed. She refunded nearly all the fees I had paid her, only charging what I considered a very fair rate for her time and the special services I had requested.
