PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST is the best credit repair company I have used so far, my first feel for their service is a recommendable experience; I wasn’t charged an upfront payment on getting my credit report fixed, which is unlike other credit repair companies, a friend recommended this to me when she got her credit fixed by them, I embraced the idea of no upfront payment, to meet the eligibility requirement I opened an account with them for a reduced rate fee, I had bad credit back then and thought I wasn’t possible to get my good credit report, but I got it all thanks to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for their service, before this I went to several other credit repair companies but they were not eligible for it not until I found right one, thanks for existing for people like me, I strongly recommend PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST. I retained Justin at the final hour of my custody/relocation battle with my Ex husband. He was very clear, honest and upfront about what I needed to do. I felt like he listed well and cared and truly fought for me. He came through in a pinch and I am so happy with the outcome. Thank you for truly helping me at the most difficult time of my life!

I called and consulted with him on the phone. He made me feel so much better about my case and gave me hope that everything would be okay. I called the next day to hire him and pay but was told they aren't taking new client. All my hopes were shattered. My advice is not to get your hopes up with this team until after you secure him... if you can.

I hired Mr. Bowen to represent me in a restraining order hearing that occurred between myself and the mother of my 3 year old daughter. Mr Bowen sounded very confident and was very knowledgeable of the law when speaking with him in the consultation. He didn't sugar coat things for me, and made me aware of all possible outcomes. I wasn't the easiest client to deal with, I'm sure of that, but he remained patient with me and remained professional at all times. I'm not going to lie, there were moments that I was skeptical if I had wasted my money or if I hired the right attorney to represent me, I was in a state of turmoil with my situation and was very worried. When the hearing came, Mr. Bowen did not disappoint in the slightest. He was prepared, attentive, focused, and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. It was only moments after he began in the courtroom that I knew without a doubt that I had hired the right guy by a long shot. I cant thank him enough for representing me and for the job that he did. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Mr. Bowen.

I have retained Bowen & Associates for the past 2 years while fighting for custody of my child. I have worked with Katie and Justin and have been extremely pleased with both of them. Being a father trying to get custody of your child is an extremely difficult process and they were both very patient in explaining all of my options and what costs/benefits were associates with these options. They never stopped working, even up to the last day before our hearing, to try to get me the best outcome possible. I couldn't have been happier with my agreement. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Kellie helped me with a personal injury case I had. Throughout the entire case Kellie was always helpful, cheerful and uplifting even at times when I did not feel like being "uplifted". She made me feel important even though I'm sure she handles much larger cases than mine. But the point is, she made me feel like I was a priority, she listened to me, and she ultimatly helped me with my lawsuit.

I worked with Rob Hicks & I cannot say enough good things! He was very professional & a great communicator. At no point during my case did he ever leave me feeling uneasy or concerned I would lose. He was kind, understanding, & very responsive, even when I know I was emotional & just needed a little hand holding. He was confident, therefore, I was confident. My situation ended in an outcome I was very happy with.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Indianapolis, Indiana?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
