Jeff Powless and his professional team helped my brother and I through a difficult time after our fathers death. The nursing home was held accountable for the death of our father. Mr. Powless and his team were able to negotiate a fair settlement relatively quickly. My father suffered neglect at a nursing home that was hired to take care of him. No real justice for unspeakable neglect however at least the nursing was held accountable. Thanks to the Powless law team!

Anybody who has any interest in how a large percentage of nursing homes are infamously run needs to read Powless’ book: ‘Abuses & Excuses.’ Do you have a Loved One in the nursing home system? Then you best retain this book as a ‘bible’ of nursing home “care” explanations. I wish I had had ‘Abuses & Excuses’ >before< the nursing home industry SHAMELESSLY & PRE-MEDITATEDLY intentionally harmed my vulnerable mother which directly caused her suffering and death. My grandfather is currently in a nursing home and a friend gave me the Abuses & Excuses book to read. This book answered a lot of my questions and concerns. Attorney Powless is passionate about patient care.
