We really appreciate Mike Yoder helping us out with some sensitive and tough issues. He was both knowledgable and helpful. We would highly recommend.

So I feel really let down by this business who boast on family law. I had issues the whole time. I understand everything is business, but the court system and my attorney failed my children. I wouldn't recommend going to them. Unfortunately I'm just a client, not a human being. My case got shoved off. I thought I would be questioned on the last day of my trial, which was all the coparent issues, I tried letting it go. When I brought this up, I got told he didn't think I was up for it. I don't think anyone who shares kids with a person who abused them will ever seem up for it. Thanks for all your hard work and bowing out of my case.

I retained Patrick Jessup after my divorce had already been finalized. I am not sure now if it would have mattered. When I initially met with Mr. Jessup, he talked a good talk about being able to do many things, e.g. get a change of judge, and move the case to a different county due to a conflict of interest in my county. He was a lot of talk and not a lot of walk. I only spoke to him twice. I spoke to his paralegal a lot, (which I guess is not uncommon, but unfortunate). In fact, Mr. Jessup went to his one month military duty during the time that he was suppose to be working on my case which threw everything off course. (I am grateful for his service to our country, but pick a profession!) When push came to shove, Mr. Jessup did NOT do one thing he said he would do. In fact, I am not even sure he tried, because in the end he stated that all I wanted was “a pound of flesh”. Well, I kind of thought that is why one hires an attorney, apparently I was wrong. The only positive side, Mr. Jessup in his wisdom said, “You need to hire a different attorney, and I will refund ALL your money.” Which he did. In the end, I didn’t end up hiring another attorney. I learned to stand up for myself, got what I should have gotten all along, and I got to keep the money he refunded me. Praise the Lord.

Hired Mr. Patrick Jessup in an on going CHINS matter; had a very strong case against it. He talked the talk but did not walk the walk. Didn't have the confidence needed during the one court appearance he made, and folded under the pressure of the prosecution. Spent a good amount of money on the retainer, had 2 personal meetings one of which was the initial consultation that was paid for separate from the retainer, & 2 phones calls. Recieved and invoice for almost the same amount as retainer, with absolutely no results. Sad about my experience, when children are involved I'd suggest a stronger mindset. With response to my response; I was not given the best advice legally, although Mr. Jessup & his secretary's are claiming so, from advice from other legal counsel the "situation" that was presented that day should not have been considered as perpromuous evidence as it was taken; given the right legal counsel I fully believe the result would have been different. Again I state every one is human but I must maintain a person whom has dedicated thier career towards such field should have more confidence and understanding which the legal system works, exspecially when thier clients children are the cause and the main involvement. I wish you and the firm & practice the best as well.

We hired Tony Krause for a criminal case in two different counties and he assured us that he would get me house arrest no problem. He charged me way too much money and I ended up being denied community corrections. when I told his paralegal she told me that he said I'd have to pay half of what I owed him and he would do what he could, I paid half and went and seen him and he said he couldn't do nothing for me, so his paralegal lied to me just so I would go pay half of what I owed him, after I already had a payment arrangement. He told me there was nothing that he could do. So the whole reason he even had me come back to the office for a meeting was just to get as much money out of me as he could, I have hired Tony in the past and I have always paid him, he knew I'd pay him, and now my family is completely broke cause we gave everything we had to him so that he would file another motion like his paralegal told me he would do on the phone. If you are planning on hiring Tony I would seriously reconsider. He definitely does not fight for you.

If you ask a question to Mike Yoder expect to wait a couple weeks for a response. Sometimes you need to ask the question again just to get any answer. Mr. Yoder takes does not have time to help his clients or explain the law. It took him months to complete a letter that should have been sent out a week after he was hired. Emails from his office were sent to the wrong email address numerous times. Mr. Yoder's office did not update phone numbers so they called the wrong people too.
