Please do not ever use him. I was recommended for him from an Advocate agency. I had never used a male attorney before so I was iffy. When we first talked he was cussing, rude and just sounded unprofessionally. I called the advocate company asked if there was a woman on who could possibly take my case. At the time I didn’t even mention how rude Mr. Gaunt was to me. The next time. I tried to called Mr. Gaunt. I explained my case more. He said Miss who do you think I am like do you think I’m stupid. I know what I’m doing. Cause he was going to ask for a continuance. I explained that the judge stated on my case. No more continuances. He got so rude, vulgar. Who do you think I am. You think I’m stupid. I know what I’m doing are you the attorney or me. Hey I was explaining my case to you. He even cussed at me. I was shocked. The worst experience ever and also so unprofessionally. I believe the other reviews on here showing a negative light. And he’s through an Advocate legal agency. Please do not ever hire this man. Believe his reviews please cause he’s exactly what they say. Thank you! Oh yes the clerks office and other attorneys said the judge wouldn’t have gave me a continuance. I have had 2 already. So they wouldn’t have gave me anymore beyond those two.

Hired Wisco for a case, never came to visit me in jail after paying a large some of money, was 20 minutes late to the courtroom, and he dresses and acts like a slob

Been almost a year and all he has done so far is take my money. Also, the prosecutor has yet to file charges so I recommend everyone who was robbed by him file complaints with the disciplinary commission against James Wisco and the Morgan County prosecutor

Does anyone know how to get A hold of this office? I need my attorney for an urgent matter and the phone line says business closed. They still have my money in an account too.

Paid Jim to do a job. Since he took the money I haven't been able to reach him. He failed to show up for court dates. One of which I had to call and remind the office about the other he just decided not to acknowledge or inform me of altogether. He failed to do the job he was paid for and he has cowardly decided to dodge every phone call or in person appearance that comes his way. I have called his office every day twice a day since June 8th, its now July 23rd. Do not recommend him or anyone in his office as this must be how they operate regularly. At this point he just stole my money. Ethics claim here we come.

He is a very bad lawyer he only cares about money he doesn’t follow up with you about your case and it’s hard to get in contact with him about your case and he demands full payment with out doing work I recommend you choose another lawyer if you want your freedom
