My coming to Koehler's Law Office since September 2013 has been a very rewarding experience for me within making my decisions to file bankruptcy and get my credit back in order. I have never had the first problem with this firm and really hadn't had to be in touch over anything until May 23,2016 and I had a car accident that totaled my car. I did not know what I was going to do! I needed a car to get back and forth of course to work and just everyday life. Then---Rhonda Collins came into my life from Koehler's Law Office and she has been a god sent person in my life in helping me getting another car----a new car at that----and is helping me also in the purchase of my mother's home who passed away in 2014. Rhonda is such a blessing and a great resource for me that I have named her my "BFF"! Kudo's to Rhonda and Koehler's Law Firm!! You all are amazing!!

Don't use this office.....I called them at the end of Nov, 2015 to do paperwork and i emailed everything to them and i ended up loosing everything anyway...The don't return calls or send u emails and let u know what is going on...Now i'm having to still pay the bills that i was filing bankruptcy on and its not fair...When u file for bankruptcy its suppose to stop the bill collectors from taking everything but it don't....Im so disappointed in all this mess....

I had a poor process through my bankruptcy. I reached out to them related to an issue I was having. Mr. Koehler himself told me I needed to remove my negative review and then they would assist me. I did this, then later I found out a debt that was supposed to be included in my bankruptcy wasn’t. I reached out to them and got a return call from Jamie (Attorney) and they advised me they would assist in correcting it and getting the collection removed from my credit report. After that Jamie never returned any further emails or phone calls (I gave them ample time to do so) and now I am going to have to hire and pay for another attorney to address this. I will not refer anyone to this office and recommend you look elsewhere.

I filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy through this firm. They explained everything, answered any questions I had. I've run in to a snag here and there with my payments, and they worked with me through them, without issue. Recently, I've had a creditor named in the bankruptcy attempt to collect again, and they returned my call within minutes, to have someone send them a letter reminding that company of the stay from the bankruptcy, and that they may NOT contact me regarding this debt.
In all, I've had a very positive experience with this firm, for what was a hard choice for me that had to happen.

I am almost done with my chapter 13 bankruptcy and I feel like are very misleading. they encouraged me to file a chapter 13, did not really explain anything to me and I have been stuck in this plan for 3 1/2 years. I should have filed a chapter 7 had I known all the facts. I did not like the fact that they are not very nice when you need to speak with someone with questions and they are very hard to get ahold of. I say go through a local office, its cheaper in the long run and less hassle.

I filed a bankruptcy through this law firm. Having never dealt with a lawyer, bankruptcy, or really any type of legal business, I wasn't sure what to expect. I never met face to face with anyone until the court date. Even though I had asked, I never had the process explained to me. I feel like some things were missed and now it is too late to change anything. I also feel like I should have filed a Chapter 7 instead of a Chapter 13, since I can't get a loan until the final payment of my bankruptcy. I feel like these are things that your lawyer should advise you on before you make any lasting decisions.
During the court appearance, I was asked if I had read and understood a form number (not the name of the form, but the form number) since I was nervous, I looked at my lawyer (hoping he would elaborate on which form they were referring) and was told "Don't look at me." !!!! What?!?! I feel like I could have went through the process myself and nothing would have changed.
Get a lawyer who cares about the individual and will meet with you to discuss all of your questions, instead of one who will just shuffle you through the process without any regard to your personal well being.
