When I first received notice of my charges I was scared out of my mind. I called around to different attorneys and Paul Stanko was the first one who actually made time out of his busy day to meet with me that same day and give me the peace of mind that it was going to be okay. He did an outstanding job with my case and explained everything to be me as I had a lot of questions throughout the process. He was able to get me the best deal/outcome on my case. I can’t thank him enough and if anyone needs a great attorney he is the man to talk to because he will make sure to get you through it.

Paul Stanko is an amazing attorney. He takes care of cases with a minimum of fuss. I used him in a reckless driving case. He managed to keep me out of jail. I had to show up one time! He seems to practice law effortlessly. He also worked with me on payment arrangements. He also takes cases in counties that most lawyers won't go to. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else unless he didnt specialize in that area, like divorce.

Judge Paul Stanko is the most accessible lawyer I have ever known. The friends I have referred to him over the past ten years or so (maybe half a dozen) have reported back to me with similar experiences. I was always able to contact him by text (the only attorney who has EVER provided me with his private cell phone number) or email, and he always answered my questions thoroughly and completely. Since he is a criminal defense lawyer, I know he is in court EVERY DAY, and I never expected him to be able to answer his phone in the middle of a trial. What I did appreciate was his prompt and timely answers to my concerns, his vast knowledge and experience, and his presence in the courtroom. You will not find another criminal defense lawyer with his credentials. If you are a client, do not expect him to answer his phone in the middle of court ("Excuse me judge; I have to take this phone call"? Seriously?), but text him or email him, and he will reply as soon as possible. In my experience, I often got replies to my emails in the evenings, on Saturdays, and even on Sundays when most people are not working. I swear the man works seven days a week. Paul will never steer you wrong. He will provide you with good, solid advice; but it's up to you to make your own decisions. I always followed his advice, and I am glad I did!

Paul was fantastic throughout the whole process. I hired Paul as my attorney in 2019 and would like to say he did a magnificent job! Honestly took care of the court side of things while he was dealing with his wife being in the hospital! Very pleased and blessed to have Paul as my attorney and if I every so need another attorney for whatever reason would gladly hire him. He stayed in contact stayed in touch let my know exact details and progression of sentencing and things I needed to do on my part, he was able to give me a heads up on things to come and to proceed and follow through with! I first contacted Paul Stanko out of concern about what I considered to be police harassment. I live in a small town and everyone, including the cops, knows where I live, what I drive, and who my friends are. Unfortunately, some of my friends have been in trouble before, and guilt by association was my main problem. His advice when I first contacted him was very helpful, and free. He said I may not need a lawyer at all, but feel free to contact him if I did. Months later, police came to my house for what Paul told me is called a "knock and talk". I foolishly let them in and spoke to them before calling Paul back. They basically threatened me with continued surveillance if I didn't become a snitch against my friends. When they left, I called Paul in a panic. He said not to worry, he would take care of it. I retained Paul at once, he contacted the detectives who had been harassing me, and I never heard from them again!

Paul Stanko is not your average attorney. If you have a DUI or any related charges against you then you want Paul on your side. He will go to bat for you and use every resource and angle possible to help your case. I have had multiple DUI's (4) this could have been my 5th and Paul took on the job and got my case dismissed...Unbelievable!! I though for sure I was going to be charged and sentenced for something. Paul always reassured me that we were doing the right thing and that he had it all under control. Well, when it's you that is facing the charge you tend to feel differently but Paul always had a positive attitude about it and again...reassured me that everything was going to work out. Listen to Paul and let him do his job. If he says not to worry then don't worry, I know easier said than done. Paul has great experience in his field and knows what he's doing. Thank you Paul. Paul was amazingly helpful during my recent OWI in Elkhart County. He answered all of my questions and helped put me at ease. He explained the process at each step and worked directly with the prosecutor to expedite a settlement. I could not have been any more impressed with his knowledge and experience.
