Rebecca came into my life at a time when a loved one was in the middle of a crisis (facing eviction and being homeless) and in desperate need of help. The date of our first meeting, she gave me confidence that things would be alright (thorough in her research and knowledge/experience with mental health and guardian law). She is always very thorough and aggressive in responding to our questions, needs and legal representation. Her advice and guidance has made dealing with the court and mental health less stressful and much easier. Consider her a blessing and very thankful for her services.

Poor customer service, no timely responses, unfavorable outcome

Our first conversation assured me that I was dealing with someone extremely competent. She knows her stuff and I have peace knowing she is representing and fighting for me. Sound advice; Straight forward; no dilly dallying around

Divorce is usually not an easy process to go through. My particular case was and is a difficult one. Rebecca helped me every step of the way and she continues to help me. During a particularly stressful situation involving my children, I called upon Rebecca to handle a crisis for me and she came through. She also isn't afraid to tell you when you're in the wrong. She works for you and will do what you ask, but sometimes a wake up call is necessary and she will let you know. She is also very knowledgeable and technologically savvy.

I hired Rebecca after hearing about her method of working with families as a whole through the process of divorce and custody issues in order to preserve some level of civility among the individuals. I have a high level of respect for Rebecca's approach to mediation as well as her representation of individuals. Her educational background gives her an upper hand in dealing with the conflict and negative emotions that are often present in legal situations. My experience has been that Rebecca works efficiently in order to get a case to completion rather than using tactics that would increase the length of time that it takes to get through a difficult situation. She is not afraid to stand up for what is right in a situation, even if it means that she has to counsel her client to have a different mindset on a situation. Rebecca remains very fair throughout the process. Also, she deals with difficult people professionally yet with a directness that indicates that she is confident in her knowledge of the law as well as what she is arguing for. As someone that lives check-to-check, it was nice to find a lawyer that is as efficient with her time on my case as she is caring. I've had two lawyers before her and they would constantly forget the details to my case and spend most of our sessions relearning my case! It's like I paid them twice! Rebecca got to the heart of the issue, found the best course of action and got my custody agreement set-up so that I could see my daughter more often and now we're WAY happier. Only down side was I had to drive to Valparaiso to find a decent lawyer. ;)
