Hired Nick at the last minute bc the lawyer I wanted wasn't reachable the day DCS had us set for court with less than 24 hr notice. He was DEFINITELY on DCS' side. Definitely would not rehire.

This man is good at communicating. He will take your money and NOT do a thing. He doesn’t even have a paralegal as she was fired for not doing her job. You can ask for weeks or months for a phone call and never receive one. He won’t provide you with an itemized list. He won’t do anything you ask him too. Their office will make fun of your situation and give you “Nicknames”. He says no lawyer would answer day or night. . Well funny bc he never answers at all. His receptionist is rude. I mean it when I say he is in over his head and will do NOTHING esp for child custody cases when you’re physically mentally sexually abused even. And have proof. He doesn’t actually care about you. He was all talk and that’s is. 7 days away from court and it’s been well over a month since he’s contacted me. The other girl (3 of us) had to switch attorneys entirely after already paying 3k. He hasn’t done anything for the second girl, who has been asking for communication for months and months like me. I’m going to have to hire a new attorney and we are going to turn him into the board for legal malpractice bc it seems we have grounds to at this point per another source or ABA. I seriously would not recommend this law office and if you would like screenshots or proof you can email me!!! My disappointment is through the roof. I am mortified to go to court. He will let the other lawyer walk on you. He doesn’t give a genuine care about your well being or children as court sent me into preterm labor two months early. Never asked court for a break or bathroom or anything even if I was sobbing. He still won’t even file paternity as I’ve asked. They messed up my writ of Assistance TWICE. You won’t be notified of anything that’s happening so be prepared to find out for yourself. There’s plenty more but that will be discussed later on!!!! In 2021 Nicholas Siler was appointed as my public defender for my criminal case. He has seriously helped me and made my whole case very simple for me. Not only that, but he is a very easygoing guy!! Highly recommend people to hire him, and if you are appointed him there’s seriously nothing to worry about!!

I am so happy that I hired Nick as my lawyer. I went to court in Bedford IN in Lawrence County. Judge Robert Cline gave me a list of lawyer's who would take a part of my bail money for representing me. I called his office and got an appointment the next day. I was charged with 2 DUI's. NICK was very professional but he was also down to earth he has done a good job at representing me, my case only has one more court date we are coming to a plea agreement also the staff in Nick's office are great will go above and beyond helping you.

Nick took my case last minute with no issues about the holidays and when all others said they cant do anything till after the first of the year. His first words was are you ok and are the children safe and made sure i got to see my kids for Christmas. They have continued to be there like family since day one. They are all a great team and will help and make sure the whats right for the children is done. I couldn't even begin to write how grateful i am for nick and his team. So if you feel like you have no one give them a call because since i did i have not had to deal with anything alone they made sure of it. I will forever be in their debt and thank you all for believing in me and legitimately caring

Six years ago, Nicholas Silar, was appointed as my public defender for a criminal case. Today, I called with a problem regarding my criminal background check. The judge dropped my felony to a misdemeanor. I was trying to get a job and I called because In my public records, it says that I have a felony. He was very helpful, explained the process, and mailed/emailed me a letter explaining that the judge dropped my felony to a misdemeanor in order for me to be able to show it to any potential employer. So, six years later, he was still here for me. I appreciate it and I encourage other people to trust him, because I don't think he will leave you hanging.

Mr. Siler has represented me in court a few times as a court appointed lawyer on a DCS case. Now I’ve hired him to get all of this over with. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to get my family reunited once again!

Mr. Siler represented me in court in September 2021. I was very pleased with him and with the results. My experience could have been much worse if I did not have Siler speaking for me. Also think his fares are reasonable.

He was a horrible lawyer. He had me take the first plea bargain and all he was worried about was his money. He didn't try to help at all. I could've got the same deal if not better with a public defender, but I had already paid him so I just took it. He was basically a pushover to the judge and prosecutors. Worse attorney I've ever had honestly.
