As of July 2022, Brett Ryan is under investigation by the Iowa Attorney Disciplinary Review Board for ethics violations. In my direct experience, he is a dishonest and unethical attorney. Engage with him at your own risk.

Mr. Watson and his staff are very kind, professional, organized and effective. Office location is easily accessible. We did not wait for our appointment once arriving. Jim was up front about his fee. He was prepared, on time for our appointment and proficient filing our taxes. Compared to filing previously with H&R Block, we saved a good amount of money utilizing Watson & Ryan, PLC. We are very pleased with all aspects of our experience filing taxes with Jim Watson! We will be returning next year and highly recommend you contact his office to setup an appointment.

He brags about keeping a close relationship with his clients but the real truth to that is seeing it. My husband has been in jail for 72 days now and hasn't seen his attorney Joseph Narmi 1 time. In fact he called and Joseph on a daily basis wouldn't take his calls and everyday repeated the examples of uncaring, non dedicated, non pationate attorney representing his client. My husband had been arrested for a crime he never committed and his attorney told him 1 day not to call him anymore. I'm not sure why but I can tell you that he does not care about Ronalds well being or outcome in this case. My husband has high anxiety over this and needed answers from his attorney. Still as of today he had had no contact with him. He seems to be more worried about keeping a friendship with prsecuting attorney than he does going to HELP his client. And further more he should have never told his client" to not call him anymore". This is very bad practice. Everyone can get a better attorney that IS COMPASSIONATE, CARING, PROFESSIONAL ATTORNEY AT LAW. I WOULDNT HAVE EVEN GIVEN HIM A 1 STAR BUT HAD TO WRITE THE TRUTH. GOOD LUCK.

Never return calls. Told us they could handle our mothers estate but we never heard back from them. James even said a couple times he would get back within the next week. Never heard from him. Very unprofessional.
