The bankruptcy process is very intimidating to go at alone. I knew that was something that I didn't want to do. So I contacted Nancy. Her assistant Melissa was very helpful. I had about an hour conversation with her and asked all of the questions that I had at the time. And she answered every one of them. I decided thank bankruptcy was something that I NEEDED to do for my future. So I retained Nancy and started the process. Melissa was very helpful on letting me know all the documents that I needed. I filled out the packet. And got it sent back in. Once all the paperwork was received I had a telephone meeting with Nancy and we went over everything line by line. Lasted over an hour, and all my questions were answered. We decided to wait a month or so to file as that’s what was best for my case. During that time me and my wife finally decided that it was time to separate. So not only did I have the stress of a new born. And bankruptcy. I was also dealing with a separation. Needless to say the stress was maxed out. Any question that I had I contacted Nancy and she emailed me back in a fast manner. Once we finally got it filled i felt such a relief and burden has been lifted. Now it is just a waiting game until discharge. Which I would say is the hardest part of the process. Nancy has been great. She makes a very very stressful time in your life seem like a non issue. I would recommend if you are considering bankruptcy, to give her a call and go over your options. She is very caring and understanding. Could not recommend more.

Months without replies. I asked to cancel my divorce may 17th. He did nothing. Asked again June 20th. He sent me a document to sign to confirm. July 14th asked if I would get a refund from trust account. July 15th he replied yes and that he still needed to file the dismissal. July 21st signed the same document for a second time. Asked why I had to sign again. No reply. September 20th asked again about refund of trust account. No reply. I had to tell him mine and my husband's address and dob multiple times and he got them wrong everytime. I have no faith in him following through correctly.

Mr. Hurd did an excellent job for me. He made a very difficult time for me work out better than I could have ever hoped for. I’ve had other attorneys and with all sincerity I can tell you that Mr. Hurd is one of the best.

Worth it, prompt, professional, and effective. I would recommend her to anyone needing a bankruptcy in Iowa.

Nancy answered our questions in a promp courteous manner, all fees were explained upfront. I would recommend her, she is very thorough. I felt that we were better prepared for our meeting of the creditors compared to other people that had different attorneys.
