Nice place.

I came to Van Cleaf & McCormack after sitting down with multiple lawyers, trying to find one who could help turn my very over-simplified yet tumultuous divorce decree and child custody/child support into a long-term solution that would set my children up for success. I met with Colin (and of course worked with Amelia throughout my time with them) and knew right away he was going to be able to get the job done. Colin was different. I was able to tell my scenario (same father, 2 children, 2 very different relationships and life paths that occurred with him and the now-teenage children) and he was the only lawyer I met with that gave me a multi-faceted approach to a weird situation. He was already giving solutions and avenues he could take just at our first meeting, and they were nothing like the run of the mill lawyer answers. Colin is direct yet not in an aggressive or dismissive way- just factual. And since I was looking for no-bull type of style and someone who would get me to trial in front of a judge, Colin was perfect. Affordable, you make consistent monthly payments that fit your budget, responsive, and we got everything my children needed and deserved. I have worked with some of the best lawyers (on paper) in the state during my 15-year divorce history only for Colin and Amelia to get us to the right finish line (and in less than a year). They responded to me over-communicating, prepped us for situations to come and trial, and never made me feel like they weren't there and available. I highly HIGHLY recommend Van Cleaf & McCormack (with the fabulous Amelia) to anyone.
