He did an ok job. No happy about the extra charges he tacked on at the last minute. He insisted on an extra $500 the day before the final hearing (which when we paid him his retainer he said it would take care of it. He did nothing extra. Nothing). This was on a Sunday. What were we to do? The hearing was at 10am the following day. Can't really get another lawyer up to speed on time for that. Asked him on multiple occasions for a bill for the extra fees and what it was for. Never ever got one. You decide if you want to put up with him. You may not find a better lawyer but you may find a good one that has more respect for their clients.

This is in response to all the negative reviews on here. Peter Berger helped save my life about a decade ago. If you want someone to get you the best deal possible, go with Peter Berger. If on the other hand, you want someone to listen to your BS, pat you on the back, and tell you everything's going to be okay, go to a therapist.

Esquire Gajdel is old school meaning that he is well rounded in all areas of his profession. I have witnessed his expertise for the past 5-6 years as a client and I am still amazed that he continues to weed out the negatives in situations that can be extremely overwhelming and exhausting. I use the term "old school" as in my opinion should not be taken as a weakness so to speak because if I were I a betting person, all bets would be in Esquire Gajdel's corner. Not to mention down the hall on the other side is Esquire Berger's office. These two (2) legal experts have the reputations, respect and resources that a lot of the newer legal counsels will never touch upon. No disrespect but that's part of that "old school'..............it goes a long way.....

She did my divorce and did just as I asked and didn't milk me dry of money. Would recommend her to anyone. Her rates are for the working man. Even got money back when it was all said and done.

I see this man has 1 star reviews and this man saved my life so I'm giving him 5 stars as I should have a few years ago when he helped me. Yes he was is expensive and yes he's a typical hot shot arrogant attorney. But it's worth it!!!!! The man acts cocky the way he does because he's the real deal. A good lawyer knows the law a great lawyer knows the judge. He was a prosecutor for 30 years. He cuts you off and doesn't let you finish sentences and all that cuz he doesn't need to hear it. He's got you covered!!!

Rude, arrogant, selfrighteous. Do NOT waste your money on him no matter what he or others tell you. He won't get you any better deal than any other attorney and he costs 3 times more. He will not let you get a word in and treats you like you are stupid. One other persons review said it exactly right. He promised to do many things and then didn't defend my son AT ALL in front of the judge. He has no heart, the day my son was sentenced I was crying and he walked over and told me "let's not be dramatic, you're not the one going to prison".
My son just called him from prison to ask if he had followed up on a letter he sent two months ago and peter hung up on him. How immature and unprofessional.
