Without Hugh Field — I as a young Iowa citizen struggling with my heart, which took my life from cardiac arrest, in 2019… and then has given me so many issues since. I’ve struggled with ventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation. Struggle to do most tasks in life, preventing me from having a good state of mind… and severe anxiety. I had no faith at my age, of 34 that I would be able to get disability. I wouldn’t be here, receiving any type of disability without him. He believed in my case from day one — and pushed through it, helping me anyway he could. He’s very personable and accommodating to any matter put in front of him. I want to thank him and this law firm so much for helping me. I know I’d still be hurting without him. I needed this 💕

I had John wood as an attorney for multiple years and cases. The only reason he liked me was because “I listened to him”. He never listened to me and although we did win, it wasn’t because of him. The judge is the one that used that evidence and I told him 20 times about this evidence and he didn’t use it and could have cost me having my son go back to a bad situation. He just doesn’t like to lose. Most recently he told me to send my son back to his dads and because I wouldn’t he gave me an attitude about it and charged me $1500 for doing nothing except arguing with me. And this is after I spent 20,000 already. I am going to represent myself because I care more about my child than this guy does.

This firm violates Conflict of Interest. Kevin Ahrenholz will take money from clients and talk to them and then turn around and speak to and represent opposing parties.. I also received a video saying that this firm informed her of the nature of the services I received, and then went on to say that no lawyers would work with me. Kevin Ahrenholz, and Nathan Miller. Mr Field was extremely honeat about what to expect from my case. He walked me through the steps. His secretary Mrs. Deb was wonderful and they both handled my questions and anxieties with genuine concern and knowledge. I have suggested them and will continue to suggest them to anyone I know seeking disability.

Very glad that I had Hugh field in my corner after getting denied 3 previous times with social security disability. He helped me go through a lot of paperwork and different tests that showed what kind of disability I was dealing with. N made it easy to understand the process. Hugh was amazing. He was honest and straight-forward about our chances of winning the case. After we lost the initial SSDI court appearance, he didn't quit. He refiled, called the court on their errors and got us a second appearance and we won. My husband no longer has to struggle to find work, he has SSDI, and we are financially stable for the first time in a decade. We couldn't have won without Hugh. He is an extraordinary lawyer and we are so greatful for what he did.

He won't take a case he can't win. He won my son's and my disability case in the appeal. Very happy with his work and knowledge. He takes a pic of each of his clients to put a face with their file. Would highly recommend this lawyer.

I met with Hugh Field, he helped me get my benefits back from disability and i couldn't reccommend him enough! he helped me me in more ways than i can count and when i went to pay him he even sent the check back! i couldn't ask for a better person to handle mine or anyone elses case! he is one of the kindest kind of people you will meet and im so grateful to have him help me and i reccommend him to anyone thats looking to get something done and considering him to do it.
